The community cannot complete the Seraph towers meaning we cannot progress.
Edit: Thank you.

The quest step is solely for the purpose of getting players to play the public events because nobody plays them
-
2 RepliesWhat if we're not supposed to complete it. The Almighty is about to crash into the tower when Rasputin sends out a special warmind cell that destroys the Almighty and a selection of our gear that coincidentally coincides with the gear that Bungie wants to retire.
-
Are people done yet so I can collect my shotgun 😂
-
Just checked and the quest has progressed just 1% on ONE location (EDZ) in the last twelve hours! So, what's left, EDZ 96% Moon 99% Io 99% = 294 percentage points to go, multiplied by 12(hrs) = 3528/12 = 147 days!!!! Five months to get a shot gun! I'm outta here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You’re a simp if you do
-
It’s not that we can’t do them it that no one gives a flying ****, myself included. This is not the way you bring back a weapon like Felwinter’s Lie Bungie.
-
Not done a single Seraph tower in weeks, that's not about to change!

3 RepliesEdited by Uncle Fester: 5/13/2020 12:43:39 AMTowers in some unknown amount. Measured by percent and by location. Some amount of weekly quests, measured by percent instead of do 10, 20, 40. Who knows how many it will take. The whole event is designed to increase player time in game. I will not be participating at all. In fact I may not play at all after today. Screw Bungie and their bounty heavy design, total lack of content, these towers have been recycled for the entire season. Terrible design! You want players to participate but there are no rewards for doing so, 1, just one piece of powerful gear for weeks worth of work. What happens if that piece is a terrible roll? The player has lost 100% of their effort. Your NUTS if you think that is proper incentive! Bungie you have had lots of input about public events like the towers that are not match made. You have had a ton of feedback about the terrible bounties and the excessive nature. You should have made changes by now. Forget year 4, forget next season, now, this event, was when you needed to implement changes by.

Edited by Dyndase: 5/13/2020 9:15:42 AMThis Season, especially the Seraph Tower itself, is a disgrace. The Lie quest, and overall the Seraph Tower, would be been more reasonable if the progress was already count since the Seraph Tower has changed its difficulty. Also, the rewards should have been better because it is difficult. The most important of all, it would be more tolerable if it was a strike mission instead of Public events. The Lie is what Bungie promised they would do things better for the seasons to come, and how the community will lie down not to play anything at this rate of quality of this game.

5 RepliesI hope that we fail and are meant to fail. I would be interesting if Bungie meant to have us fail.

14 RepliesThis is how I'm completing the Seraph Towers to advance the Liar quest. Step One: Boot up Metro Exodus instead. Step Two: Don't think about Destiny because Bungo will autocomplete it for us when no one is taking part in the sh*t event and quest. Step Three: Enjoy Felwinter's Liar... Then realise its a shotgun and therefore a pile of sh*t so it goes straight in the vault, forever. (I'm a PvE player). It's a foolproof plan.

1 ReplyI ain’t even buy the season pass so I can’t get the loot from the public event itself. So nah I’m good. Even if I did I still wouldn’t do it. 9 million? Yea ok..
-
1 ReplyThe season pass was the lie.
-
3 RepliesBungie will artificially inflate the numbers when they realise people aren’t doing it, and the bungie fanboys will say “see people love the event”
-
The lie is that the quest states ‘complete public events’. Nowhere does it say it has to be seraph tower public events. I wish they would proofread their sh!t.

It wouldn't be so bad if you could actually have 9 people load into the patrol zone at a time. Tried doing Io last week (racked up more hours than I wanna admit) and the one thing I found? EVERY time I loaded Into Io there were 3 people there. Why not fill the patrol zone before putting people in a new server?
