The community cannot complete the Seraph towers meaning we cannot progress.
Edit: Thank you.

216 RepliesWe issued a few changes. We slightly decreased the difficulty of the Seraph Tower Events with some server-side changes and also added in 5x multiplier for event progress that will go up to a 10x multiplier on the weekends. https://twitter.com/Bungie/status/1260677894348521472

5 Replies9 mill public events? Sorry bungie but are you out of your mind??? Not gonna happen. Yesterday we saw some progress which was basically people checking how fast/slow progress is, only to come to the conclusion: "this is just like the restoration effort we just did ; let the community do all that while i just focus on pinnacles and iron banner!" What also doesnt help is that ever since destiny 2 became free to play, the game has been flooded with cheaters, idiots, and cheating idiots. Cant even do these seraph events because i cant make a team bigger than 3 people and randoms dont seem to know how the events work. I mean, years later and still some people dont seem to know how to make public events Heroic so why on earth would you think that public events is something we should focus on?? Why aren't we getting more quests tied to weapons such as zero hour/whisper/shattered throne..? That was actually fun! Time to stop this laziness bungie, increasing the grind and changing the meta does not count as adding replayability. Not even a little bit. Time for something new and refreshing. The title says it. I never played Anthem. But if i had to choose between quests like "the lie" and Anthem, i'd rather buy and play Anthem. Please let that sink in and realise how low the bar is at this point.

Lol. We can’t progress. Like Bungie won’t just put up the numbers anyhow. The lie is the illusion that these season ending events matter. They don’t.

Shut your hole immediately!!!

1 Reply"The Season of the Streamers" And every aspect has failed. What a 🤡 show

9 RepliesEdited by Corrick II: 5/14/2020 1:16:26 PMStill can’t get past 80% with 5-6 people, even after the adjustment. Might be some players also just don’t know what they’re doing. Then again, it’s a pretty dumb activity so I can see why people wouldn’t bother to try. Has anyone stopped to think about it? What kind of backwards engineering requires a glowing orb be thrown at another exposed glowing orb to power up a piece of critical planetary defense infrastructure. It’s ridiculous.

Edit- do NOT thank them..we’re not playing these inane, duplicative events in lieu of meaningful content or compelling storytelling. This is LAZY on the part of the dev/studio. I will not step foot in the patrol space

2 RepliesEdited by The 7th fall: 5/14/2020 11:46:51 AMO.O... Jesus Christ over 1000 upvotes?! This has not happened in ages. Hope Bungle gets the hint now: Quit screwing around, dragging the players through the mud and still expect the player base to swallow your pig swill.

14 RepliesEdited by acerspades1: 5/14/2020 3:08:42 PMJust my daily check in to remind you lot to hurry up and get my shotgun. Let me know when you're done 👍 Edit: Over 1m EDZ completions. Come on folks you can do it! (Don't forget to pm me when you're done!!)

So, the problem is the absence of matchmaking because relying on instances doesn't work, (apparently Bungie learned nothing from Escalation Protocol), and what they do is tune the difficulty while the REAL issue persists? Yeah, that makes perfect sense. At this time, if they really had any respect for their players, they should auto-complete this part of the quest and move on.
-
They wanted us to watch the D2 content so is anyone streaming the towers event I would like to watch it being completed
-
Edited by Night_Fury147: 5/14/2020 1:56:02 PMBungie is obviously going to change the quest because, based on how progress is going, we will not complete this step of the quest until the end of June. At that point, the season would have already ended and thus the seraph towers would have been replaced with whatever new activity we will be renting next season. Edit: Like I said, Bungie did change the quest. I figured they would not have done anything about it until next week's reset, but good for them, they got it out fast.

1 ReplyThe rest of the community can go ahead with this. Those public events are boring, and I'm still not doing them.
-
30 RepliesNo they should not change it. I want to see were those sweaty pvp players cry because us casual pve players did nothing for them. Just like they gate keep Trials us pve casuals can now gate keep this from those that tell us get good and trials isn't meant for everyone. Well felwinters should not be given to those who don't participate in achieving this impossible task.
-
Still not doing another
-
Still can't believe they thought making people do hundreds of literally the most mind numbing activity I've ever seen was a good idea. Absolutely clueless...
-
8 RepliesCmon guys, This is clearly an attempt on Bungie to bring the community together. Bringing us together to -blam!-ing hate this event.
-
This event is the ultimate troll by Bungie...lol well played. The lies the lies you tell us Cozmo!!!
-
1 ReplyCongrats on 1k upvotes thats the most in the last very long time This means bungie has committed a very large mistake
-
Well I thought I’d give it a try but all the areas are empty and that’s with reloading in as well.
-
Community: “Change the quest” Bungie: “Okay, here you go.” Community: “You weren’t supposed to do that.”
-
Over 1,000 upvotes! Good job.

Edited by TotalDramaGamer: 5/14/2020 2:49:49 AMHonestly, if there was an event that involved killing 9 million D1 strikes bosses there would be a better chance of that actually happening than whatever this D2 monstrosity this is...

3 RepliesEdited by yakineko: 5/14/2020 1:37:12 AMIt's not an attractive reward, nor is it a festive event where Bounty are completed in an instant like Empyrean. Why do we have to go through quests that have no content and are just too much? Those who complete the Seal won't play it, and those who complete the weapons won't play it either. What in the world is so sad that I have to do this? Nothing looks appealing, this is nothing but a self-satisfied event from Bungie with no thought for the player at all. This season has sucked, everything.

6 RepliesEdited by JazzyPaladin477: 5/14/2020 12:56:48 PMPlayer base: this is the worst public event yet, even worse then mercury. Please make it go away. We don’t want to throw balls anymore. It’s stupid. Bungie: voila! Now defend two plates at a time. Player base: what? Why did you do this? Now it’s hard and stupid. I’m not doing this anymore. The loot sucks anyway, it’s a waste of time. I was only doing it before to grind out gg medals. I’m out. Bungie: well what about grinding out 3000000 PVE events on each locationfor this recycled PVP weapon that we are most likely definitely maybe not going to nerf 2 weeks after you get it. We good? Player base: 🖕🤬🖕nope. Not going to happen. Just fudge the numbers so the scarab lord can save face and fork over the gun. Or let the city burn, make a good story out of it. Whatever you have to do. Edit: Bungie: ok ok ok...5 times multiplier and weaker champions. We good now? Hello? Hello? Where did everyone go? Hey Luke....ya....ya I know...I told them...but they still aren’t doing it.

7 RepliesWow, people really -blam!-ing hate the towers. When's the last time a topic hit 700 upvotes around here? I wonder if Cosmo will use one of his 3 mandatory Wednesday replies to tell you that he'll pass on the feedback to the team.
