If you talk about scout riffles its actually possiblr to do grrat with them. I was most of the time on top of the leaderboard while using scouts. In fact you are more usefull than an ape rushing with a shotgun considering you die less.

Nope. Most of them camp on an edge of a map, not contributing much to anything at all. Few more kills do not matter in Control.
