I play middle-tree Striker Titan, I use Bygones, IKELOS shotgun and Thunderlord. I run Year-One Iron Banner armor with the Armamentarium.
That's what I LIKE!
I DON'T WANT TO USE SMGs AND FUSION RIFLES.
I DON'T LIKE SMGs AND FUSION RIFLES.
And you people have the AUDACITY TO LOCK IRON BANNER ENGRAMS BEHIND QUEST STEPS WHICH FORCE ME TO USE CRAP THAT I DON'T LIKE/WANT.
This shit's getting old. No, this shit got old over a year ago.
It's gonna be a beautiful blamming day when you stop catering EXCLUSIVELY to the vocal minority of players who want everything to be a long, drawn-out tedious mind-numbing grindfest.
Jeesus H Christ, I already work for a living. I play video games to ESCAPE work. This shit's a chore.
And to everyone who's gonna say "stop whining" or any iteration of that: GET BENT!

10 RepliesI KNOW RIGHT!? I mean just the other day I was playing skyrim, and the dungeon I went into was filled with bandits. Bullshit! I wanted to fight dragons, but if I was going to be able to do that dungeon, I was FORCED AT POINT OF GUN to kill bandits by Bethesda because they're TrAaAaSsShH And then I was playing the division and wanted to get the chatterbox. They had the audacity to make me go get hyena caches to unlock it. I wanted to farm outcast caches, by Ubisoft are JERKS and FORCED ME to farm Hyenas. ItS mY gAmE lEt Me PlAy HoW I wAnT. Then I played FF14 to get my Anima weapon. You won't even believe the control here. They made me get luminous crystals from Fates. I DONT WANT TO DO FATES. How dare they force me to play MY game the way I want. I wanted to do dungeons. They MADE me do fates. WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH It's almost like games give directed objectives, but no that would make way too much sense. BULL they're telling me how to play!

2 RepliesYou should have to go go out of your comfort zone to get a reward Thats why they mix PvE and PvE in most quest lines, to get people to experience the entire game The Artifact and Armor burns however are inexusably forcing us to play a certain way , they need to be reworked
-
4 RepliesJesus man. Just play something else then. No need to be a D bag, with all that yelling. Believe it or not you choose to play this game.
-
Yup. All I can say to bungo is a big fat -blam!-you.
-
Bump.
-
3 RepliesMaybe instead of ranting and sounding like an entitled teenager you should suggest that Bungie make their quests more flexible. I would imagine that the majority of ppl dont mind quests that are structured the way they are now. The masses vs the few know what I mean?
-
Well said other vocal minority.
-
Waaah
-
At least this time we don't have to run around with sword hilts trying to bash each other with them like last season.
-
You are free, to do as Luke Smith tells you
-
I salute you, fellow Titan.
-
PREAAAAAAAAAACH
-
Btw year one IB armor can be used as ornaments on the current armor. So if you want to keep your looks and have perks, there ya go.
-
8 RepliesHere -blam!-ing here... I'm over the way they force us to play... the best times I ever had in D1 was when I completed all quests and had max grimiore and I was free to use and do whatever I wanted. No fomo just pure fun... bungie doesn't realise this anymore

12 RepliesEdited by ChiefBaummer: 10/17/2019 4:39:38 AMIt’s stupid how iron banner is just dumping pinnacle rewards everywhere. I absolutely HATE crucible. Won’t play it. Yet the best rewards in the game are from a useless addition that doesn’t add anything to the story or lore? Why are the nerfs/buffs based on PVP? I would’ve liked to get the undying seal but I won’t suffer through the horrible grind that is crucible pursuits. I guess this game just revolves around PVP now. It’s sad

"Play how you want, but you can only use the weapons and armor we say you can use"
-
And yet here you are...still playing. Must not bother you too badly.
-
Imagine refusing to expand your skillset and adapt and then complaining about your refusal to expand and adapt. No one is "forcing" you to change your entire playstyle, the kill requirements for these quests are minuscule to the point where you can knock them out within a match or two and go right back to your preferred loadout. Matter of fact, the entire pursuit can be completed within an hour if your brains aren't hanging out your ears. If you don't think pinnacle rewards with high stat rolls and enhanced mods aren't worth it then that's your own prerogative.
-
What would you rather they do? I mean, they need to make you do something for the pinnacle rewards since they're the highest tier of reward in the game. No matter what they do the tasks are going to be pretty substantial and most likely take quite a bit of time.

2 RepliesWhaa whaa whaaa. We have a crier call the whambulance. Ffs step outside your comfort zone and try something new ... or just play the game with what you want and don’t moan you can’t do quests
-
Easiest pvp questline to date
-
Long quests and grinding is because of the style of game. It has nothing to do with what people want it's literally what any game in the genre does. Play cod or battlefield if you don't want long quests. Furthermore don't bother getting the new gear if you don't like the quest, it's your choice.
-
Nobody asked for long tedious quests that require you to use things you don’t want to. That’s Bungie’s flawed logic, not ours. Fortunately, it’s very few kills. 2 games max for most of the steps. Pulse rifles maybe 3-4 if you don’t get a good streak. And that’s being generous. It’s not the end of the world, it’s just annoying. Furthermore, it’s not long. It takes about an hour to do the entire quest.
-
2 RepliesI agree -blam!- bungo on this. Not budging and -blam!- any idiot piece of shit that defends them on this. They're just making the game a shit hole. If I wanted to play a certain way I would. That's what killed d1 for me. The forced meta. Oh you have to use icebreaker sidearm because were too lazy to nerf matador when it has 50%+ crucible kills. Bungie are a bungie of slobs.
-
I didn’t mind it at first, but the quest step being bugged is annoying. I’m on the fusion rifle part. None of the final blows are counting. I don’t like using fusions in the first place, after a few frustrating matches and I find out none of the kills counted. So I’m just shelving this quest. It’s not worth the frustration.

6 RepliesHypothetical question; what happens if you don’t get said engrams from Iron Banner?
