Datto needs to specify that his opinions reflect pc gameplay and that balancing needs to be separate. Guys over here saying dawnblade is broken meanwhile on console its literally not used

That's always what I was dead afraid was going to happen to Destiny. Not only do we have to put up with their refusal to balance PvP and PvE, but now we also have to put up with them refusing to balance Console/PC separately

Edited by BootKnacks: 7/30/2019 1:00:33 PMDawnblade isn’t used? I die to it quite a bit in crucible actually. Different experiences I guess, but I see it quite frequently.

https://guardian.gg/2/class-stats?platform=console&mode=5&start=2019-07-23&end=2019-07-30 Its almost always the least used or second least used subclass as a whole and bottom 2 in terms of average kd/a as well. Atleast for console. On pc where movement is crazy good dawnblade isnt as limited and apparently is a huge issue

Edited by Tydrimar: 7/30/2019 7:14:32 PMYet they have the 3rd best win rate. Other classes just have better shutdown super like gg or nova bomb. I see dawnblade more for pve than for pvp
-
Also just an fyi you had your filter set to pc i just double checked. On pc has the 3rd highest win rate on console its slightly above sunbreaker which is currently the lowest.
-
Even in pve its lack luster. Doesnt clear ads better than storm and doesnt do enough damage to kill majors fast. Tbh id like the entire class reworked. It feels like it wants to be stormcaller but worse?

Edited by BootKnacks: 7/30/2019 3:59:00 PMLike i said, different experiences mate. It's the most used warlock subclass i see. Maybe the numbers there don't show it, but i get killed by dawn blade more than nova bomb, nova warp, or stormcaller for sure. And i'm not trying to argue with you, i am just surprised is all.

They really do need to balance separate and people need to say it more but at the same time I really doubt they will cause they know they play like 2 different games. I have a friend that plays both and he said it is amazingly easier and completely different on PC than on console. They saw the numbers for the raid completions in the first few days the last raid and other were released and from what I read by far more PC players got through in the first few days than console players yet there were by far more console players trying. I also read there were hundreds of PC players that finished in the first 24 hrs but 1 group on console yet many thousands more tried on consoles. It could have been wrong but I don't think it was.

In the first 24 hours no xbox players beat it Nd 1 group of ps4 players did and like 20 groups of pc players did. Im not sure if its because pc has youtubers or theyre more dedicated for grinding or because its easier

It is still a top 3 super on console..

https://guardian.gg/2/class-stats?platform=console&mode=5&start=2019-07-23&end=2019-07-30 Literally on console it bounces between the worst to second worst performing subclass in the game and is the least used warlock subclass.
