28 RepliesThere's a big issue if a few players want to take away others enjoyment so they can feel satisfied. I like my Well, I like blasting stuff with Nova bomb, or really great exotics. I'm grinding enough at work. If the game is too easy then use all rares, use all whites, get a card that plugs in whatever handicap will satisfy all these guys until the difficulty is x10, use a dance pad or a kinect. Do whatever you have to do, just keep it on your side of the pond. Nothing is stopping anyone from making the game more difficult for themselves. But it's kind of selfish to have the whole game adjust to a few people's whims.

His PVE thoughts are BS.…..PVP is a different matter. There are a few supers that need to be brought down a bit. Bottom tree striker and SB come to mind. Either that or give all players a way to shut down a super al-a P. Greeves. And remember this guy plays games for a living. His view is skewed and not the view of the "normal dude" who plays this game.

Roaming supers last entirely too long, normal crucible games do feel like mayhem sometimes, and heavy should be how it was at the end of d1. One heavy drop, anyone nearby the crate gets it. Then heavy is gone for the rest of the match. As for the PVE stuff, i do disagree. I don't have a lot of time, and i hate overly complicated mechanics, especially when you have to keep repeating them for each damage phase. Anything that gets the boss down quicer is a win in my book.

Bungie can't cater the difficulty of content to him and his specific group because they would alienate the other 99% of the community and Datto and his little buddies can't support Bungie on their own. If Datto wants more of a challenge he can stop running meta and stop playing with the best players in the game all the time. Why do you think Gladd and those guys come up with their own challenges like soloing Riven or 2 manning the raids? Datto could come up with ways to challenge himself that don't require Bungie to alienate the rest of us but he would rather sit and complain instead. He just likes to complain is all. Even his positive reviews have that tone that he is upset the review has to be positive. He sounds like he is just a negative dude in general.

Raid bosses just boil down to: get to the DPS phase, throw your well down, go ham. I like Warlock, and I’m starting to hate that the only SC you’re allowed to run for bosses is Well. It’s too strong, Tether is too strong. The power of the weapons we have is a tad much.

6 RepliesYeah I watched his video and I’m tired of hearing him say PVE should be more challenging. I don’t have 14 hours a day to play this game, and when I do I don’t want to be pub stomped repeatedly by a mob of thralls with blackout active. If you want more of a challenge go play Dark Souls.

2 RepliesNot really gonna back-up anyone that wants to further weaken and water down the game even more. Datto is a good content creator BUT is also wanting to maximize his earning potential via Twitch/YouTube. He call for nerfs in order to change the status quo so he will have new material to broadcast. “That 1 phase no longer works because well has been nerfed so watch my video and see how we defeat the raid boss now” Any nerf to the game in any capacity further weakens our guardians and removes more of our space magic. Datto should wake up and start thinking about the game from a player enjoyment perspective and not from a business mindset.

Hunters being broken for literally years Pretty ridiculous that he spends a ton of the the video complaining about the one warlock super worth anything, not sure what thats about... Each class has a group of meta items you have to use to be competitive... not just warlock, and their items are the least strong compared to other class exotics for literally years. Ie most warlock exotics and supers suck, and he complains about the only good ones, instead of on eyed mask, or blade barrage, for most of the vid. Whut? Sounds like he just got on a rant after having been told by his team he can't wear Starfire protocol in a raid.
