I don't know if you've ever watched Rags. He's a more controversial YouTuber. I watched his summary from an outsider's perspective of D2 and it's sad that many of the problems he mentioned in D2 Y1 still exist currently.

I’m going for headshots with hand cannons for the Luna’s Howl and every game today I have played teams of four. I can’t get hardly any headshots because I’m getting melted because of team shooting. I really don’t like this matchmaking

And alot of crappy opinions also about trying make crap harder for the no lifers who make a living playing the game. You really think that popping a well and aimlessly holding fire with a gl while the boss just stares at you and stands still is fun, balanced, and engaging? That shit is lame and boring. Its nice that raids are easier now I guess if you only care about loot but like datto said in D1 raids were a LOT harder, and yet still very very doable and a lot more fun. 2. Datto doesn’t want the game to be super hard like dark souls but I think everyone can agree that Destiny 2 is much easier than Destiny and that is the point he makes in the video. Destiny wasn’t hard either, but relatively speaking it is a hell of a lot harder and more engaging than Destiny 2 ESPECIALLY the raids. He, along with myself and a lot of people I have talked to, just want that level of difficulty back and for a couple of super hard challenging activities for the elite players to be added just to please that audience. Casual players will be upset about not being able to do those activities but maybe people need to start accepting that they are not entitled to everything in the game from the moment they purchase it. You might have bought halo reach but like 1% of reach players got the haunted helmet. Why? Because they just played more than others. You might subscribe to Old School Runescape but a small minority has things like the slayer cape and Im pretty sure the global population that is level 99 in everything is just in the 3 digits, yet the casuals still pay for the game every month. [b]Some things you just won’t be able to do and that’s okay.[/b]

I dislike Datto, but he makes some good points. Crucible needs a massive face lift, as do many PVE activities

Crucible has become insane. I just finished a game where I was getting insta killed, usually in quick play I hardly have problems

I agree with datto, especially with the PVE part. It's to easy in destiny 2. I remember in D1, where the encounters actually had an aspect of difficulty. Where the titan would pop a bubble with weapons of light, and where we actually had to reload.
