Lower Striker Subclass NEEDS to be nerfed
It needs to be nerfed just as bad as spectal blade needed it.
Spectal blades nerf mainly came because of gwisin vest. But Titan Striker can run the entire map twice and one hit shoulder everyone it meets while doing so. I know titans are supposed to be "tanks" but this is too insane. It requires no timing or skills with the lower striker subclass (can't remember it's name)

Most of the huge streaks just come from teammates that are too afraid to shoot at someone in their super. I agree it needs to be tuned down, but ALL OTHER titan supers need a HUGE buff. It seems especially powerful when all we can compare it to is the trash fire that is sentinel and the inconsistent mess of sunbreaker. p.s- I only use sunbreaker bottom tree

1 ReplyYou're forgetting that we're also one of the easiest classes to be hit out their super. Our armor during supers is hilarious. The biggest problem I see is, The maps. They are so damn small. The bottom tree super would never be as much of a problem if we had maps like First Light.

Get better at killing them I personally have a ton of fun using bottom tree titan, but I can also kill them pretty easily too, last night killed one on b flag on dead cliffs within 5 seconds of him popping his super, 2 dust rock shots to the face and it’s over

Just jump off the map when you hear them coming, that's what I do. I mean unless I have a way to actually kill them.

This problem seems like the same thing that happened with Ursa Furiosa which was primarily caused by people not knowing how to deal with a problem properly "Nerf because they get their super back to fast" which was somewhat justified yes it did gain a little to much from the damage it took, but the real problem was people shooting the big immune shield thinking they were doing something and instead not only were they doing nothing but they were helping the Titan. In this case people run away and get caught and killed (which was a huge problem with that class it was always to slow) when all you have to do is stand your ground and fight the Striker, if you die so what if anything try to evade and waste their energy as much as possible (you can sacrifice yourself to save your team, ever jumped head first into a Nova Bomb to save the other 5 people behind you? I have) I have yet to be in a match where a Striker has been a problem and I have yet to be a problem with a Striker most kills I can ever manage is 4 at most because of how far spread everyone always is but maybe that's a problem only I have idk. If anything I wouldn't be to against lowering the armor a little but if they do that they better put it on Thundercrash, me and all my friends have given up on that super because we always get shot out of the sky, either make it tankier or faster or have Eternal Warrior work on that Tree. EDIT: One question I have to everyone having a problem with these Strikers what exotic do you usually see them wear my guess is 'One Eyed Mask' that could be the real problem if you just can't kill them, also Tractor Cannon/suppression grenade is your friend. And if they do nerf it they need to only reduce how much energy is gained from Guardian kills otherwise they'll ruin it for PvE. Also to those that will talk shit to me I rarely use this tree in PvP I prefer Sentinel and Sunbreaker by FAR for the super.

Yeah it's super ridiculous that a bottom tree striker titan can just keep spamming their shoulder charge across the whole map and not run out of super. Especially when any other super that would spam their attacks would just end more quickly.

Yeah i mean if nova warp and spectral got nerfed, then why not this as well? Theres always at least one titan each match that kills me more than once in a single super by spamming r1 around the map.

Bungie is nerfing it along with all other roaming supers. Pretty soon all roaming supers will suck and I can enjoy some peace and quiet in my bubble. XD

The only nerfed part of it is getting team shotted out of it. But hey high end crucible isn't everyone's game they join.

3 RepliesI main warlock, and gave bottom striker titan a shot. Its a menace when in an enclosed area. But I have been team shotted out of it and people have gotten away from me.

I can see if titans were like Recluse or NF, where we had to have skill to grind and obtain them. But we literally ALL have access to bottom tree Striker, along with other supers. And I don't run with my Titan, my warlock is my favorite. But I know I can SWITCH to my titan if needed and do the same thing others can with bottom tree. Can't you? Or is it that you made a CHOICE not to because you like other classes like I do? Cause if you did, why complain? And if they require "no skill", shouldn't you be better at dodging and avoiding it?
