Growing My Hair Out, Day 1

Alright, so yesterday I got a hair cut (final one for a while until I decide to trim it so it can grow faster) And it looks awful. I hate my hair, I really do. So I'll probably do an update next month around this time
Also sketches will probably be out Wednesday, busy with work and piano practice for the recital. Plan on doing hanmer, eccho, and Xombie so its a pretty good day for that
Anyways, hopefully this goes well!

Hair growth begins at the follicles in your scalp. Trimming isn't good for anything unless you have crazy split ends. Take care of your hair and it will grow as fast as your genetics will allow. Don't wash it too little or too much, don't put a lot of shit in it, like "hair products", and you'll be good to go without trims or cutting it.

17 RepliesNot sure where you live, but if it is somewhere hot, like most of the South, keep the sides and back shaved. It will stay a helluva lot cooler and less hair to manage, besides using the buzzers or paying someone to buzz the back and sides, though the buzzers pay for themselves in 2 cuts.

I had my hair all cut short at the same length I have barely had it cut and not the front hairs touch my nose if I want the to. I move them to the right to keep them out of my eyes.

Stick to it. Sometimes you’ll get frustrated a and just want to shave it al off. Buy product so you can style it. The longer it gets, the more you can do with it. I grew mine past my shoulders. Now I got the Fury cut.

Thought you were going to take a back of the head picture. Advise: use some hair product to keep it under control in the first stage of growing (Joyride or Manipulator by Tigi are awesome for semi short hair)
