Suicide is now the best way to counter Spectral Blades
No joke, my buddy has a 5 year old son who is fascinated by Destiny. He was running crucible the other day, popped his Spectral Blades, and handed the controller to his son. Little dude got 3 kills just mashing away at the buttons. Skill-based pvp, lol? Currently, there exists no counter to Spectral Blades. None.
If you're ahead on points, best option is to just suicide yourself to preserve the win.

Like, I three tap one to the head with a Chaperone and it still doesn't kill them. Why can't things like that, and snipers work for shutting roaming supers down?

All supers and teamshooting can kill spectral. 1v1, good luck but that goes for any super in D2 except gg

But in all seriousness you can go ahead and nerf spectral blades we hunters don’t care about it anyways, and it’s not going to change anything in the hunter community. Actual good hunter mains are still rocking way of the trapper (cause it’s the shit) and arcstrider (cause it’s the shit) and arcstrider -blam!-ing blows but we don’t care. Just look at when they nerfed blade barrage, you think that mattered? No it didn’t, we are still extremely happy that hunters finally got a reaction super when the other classes have had them since D1 even if it sucks compared to fist of panic and nova bomb, doesn’t matter to us. So I agree go ahead and nerf spectral blades, hunter mains are just gonna laugh while we still clap fools in our shitty subclasses

Works in gambit too. If invader doesn't make any damage on you and you suicide they can't heal your primevil.

Jotun works really well Especially in gambit And most supers work really well against it

I have found Cerberus to also be effective on Xbox. Do have to agree that they are very powerful and don’t have really many counters.

Pretend suicide is better jump off backwards double jump back and shoot them as they run away if they are waiting you might get lucky and their super runs out....then its an even fight

Look just run. You might not get away but most people who use it never think to go after anyone else. So They'll use most of their super trying to catch you and even if they do, it's less super for your teammates to deal with

But there’s no real warning... Boom I’m dead and it says spectral blades. I did out jump the range the other day with high lift on my titan. It was a first but did work

Edited by A Lion of Judah: 4/10/2019 3:14:07 PMThey should give spectral four arms like a vandal and have 2 golden guns in the two extra arms, that fire in every direction like a 360 Cerberus, every time you swipe light attack...heavy attack needs to be buffed into a way of the missle head butt slam. But have it nuke the map like in COD.. Hunters rule.
