Is it in the realm of possibility to give us console scrubs FOV settings? It would make playing D2 so much easier on the eyes.

i played console d2 for over a year and i must say the switch to pc was a world of difference when i cranked up the fov. i will say though, more stuff to render per frame will be more taxing on the already-poor APU in consoles, so it could come with fps inconsistencies.

Edited by Infamous067: 3/22/2019 12:08:18 AMNever going to happen, console cant handle fov the way a pc does. Destiny on console already runs at 30 fps, unless you really want to play below that which would be a terrible experience, fov settings will never come to destiny. Whats probably going to happen is destiny 3 comes out in like 2 years and maybe on the ps5 or xbox 2 or whatever they want to call it and maybe then add fov settings since a new generation of console should be stronger than the current generation. Also for anyone who is a bit ignorant and dares to mention borderlands 2 having fov. The graphics/textures/ lighting etc is a whole lot weaker than destiny which is why borderlands allows fov settings.

Apparently that’s not possible because of how graphically demanding the game is, but I personally would love a setting that lowers graphics and enables an FOV slider. If that is possible.

How infuriating is it when you snipe some one in the head and it doesn't register, you try go for a follow up shot, which is impossible to hit because you are being flinched into oblivion. Dedicated servers, this should be standard in this day and age. User interface, this on console makes me not even sign in at times, the load times for the login and inventory are ridiculous. Every update it seems to get worse. Proper balance in the PvP environment, make supers vulnerable to bullets. I can't stress how infuriating it is to die from an invincible super when on a kill streak. Weapon rework, shotguns make an actual significant nerf to range. Expand the Bungie team, we need more reliable updates faster, the player base is fast declining. I am sure am not the only one is getting burnt out.

They said it would ruin the graphics. It's tighter than D1 bcoz of the better graphics. Just play Borderlands 2 n put the FoV to 110, it's stunning

6 RepliesEdited by csch92: 3/21/2019 12:35:50 PMcalm down satan, the game would instantly crash on the poor consoles. also - for high end settings you need a good PC :)

21 RepliesThey can't even get balance and matchmaking right. They break 3 things for every 1 change they make. Do you honestly think they would get this right? Besides, they've ready proven they won't implement something like this because it can give 1 person an visual advantage over another. Not going to happen

Honestly I just want my fov wider just for my super. I can't see shit with something blocking half my screen.

I think FOV is an issue for players on controller, since your viewing direction is harder to adjust than with a mouse.

Yeah, I'd love to get these binoculars off my face.

1 ReplyBump. The FOV is terrible on console. It's like having your face up against a window. The peripheral is bad.
