I'd say more like Mass Effect Andromeda with more flight and less cover. I can see the Warframe aspect with the exo suits and stuff though.

7 RepliesEdited by TheArtist: 1/27/2019 2:26:20 AMThere are Warframe elements but that is just the tip of the Anthem iceberg. Anthem also borrows heavily from Mass Effect (Andromeda). Because combat is not so much about guns but about abilities and combinations of abilities. Which is why you really don’t see the game as it’s supposed to play with everyone running around in Rangers. The game also borrows heavily from Diablo 3. Playing the Storm javelin is like playing like a high level Wizard from Diablo 3 and getting to spam his most powerful abilities every 20 seconds. You are not a rifleman, your a flying artillery platform. You almost feel sorry for your victims.... Bottomline, this game takes SOME of the things that Warframe does well from a game play standpoint and expands and improves upon them [i]greatly.[/i]

4 RepliesI don’t agree, entirely, but I’m not going to bother trying to change your mind. Of its competitors - Warframe, Destiny, The Division - Anthem is [i]most[/i] similar to Warframe in concept and loot model. But I think it stands on its own legs and combines facets of several games I really like in a way that works.

Arguing about which game's better is like asking whether you'd prefer gonorrhea or chlamydia.
