Oh my god, my brain hurts. How? How!? How can the same game create something as bad as warmind and still make THAT?!
I won't go into too much spoilers, but the newest Truth to power card is a choose your own adventure book and it's sooooo amazing. I love it so much!
Now all I need to do is beat Eris in a basketball match 99 more times...
I want you people to see this, forgive me if this feels like self promotion... Because it totally is(n't)

Got around to doing this last night and I never laughed that hard at an in-game lore item since the early days of The Dark Below when I got a pair of Dusk Tread VI* boots. The best part was the one about Rahool - the greedy blue bastard. Glad to see that some one at Bungie still has a sense humor. It also didn't hurt that we had an interesting conversation with Mara, or should I say the lecture we got from Mara. * The flavor text for the Dusk Tread VI is why I created my Warlock and still have those boots stashed away in my vault in Destiny
"Contrary to Hunter assertion, 'floofing about' is NOT an acceptable term for gliding."
Edited by JurasicDuckling: 1/9/2019 3:38:04 AMThe whole lore book blows my mind with every entry and I love it, and on top of the shall we say "interesting" meeting with Mara this week this one was AMAZING! I love choose your own adventure stuff and this was great, wish there was a whole Destiny book in that format. It also dropped a lot of interesting stuff about ...
Level 999 Solo Incaru? I wonder if its a diversion or hint either way I love how Destiny breaks the fourth wall when it comes to Ahamkara stuff, also the Cayde part was especially interesting, and I can't wait to find if Medusa is actually dead. I've been waiting to see how the Vex play into the DC since the techeun dropped a hint about it so many weeks ago. Also I got chills when Mara yelled "SPEAK" and the whole place shook, pretty snazzy.
23 RepliesWarmind was written by a guy named Frank Barbiere, I guess I the lead(?) writer for Vicarious Visions. He clearly never played Destiny or really did any homework on the lore when he wrote that drivel. I'm not sure why it was greenlighted, but whoever made that decision is as responsible for it's shortcomings as Mr. Barbiere. Forsaken however was written by the writing team at High Moon Studios. They clearly did their homework and really took the players concerns to heart. This is why the lore is so inconsistent. Some people care about their craft, and some people care about their paychecks.

You'd need the other cards to understand

This has instantly become my favorite lore tab! It’s like some interactive text-based RPG/adventure game. And it’s shockingly so deep, I’m shook.
