I really liked the whole comebacking from the dead mechanic. It would also be a unique super, because dawnblade is just a flying storm caller. We have 2 dawnblade supers that ate very similar, having well, dawmblade, and self rez would really make the solar subclass unique.

Won't happen, it caused too many issues.

Well of Radiance is way better than Self-Res in PvE. Makes everyone in in nearly invincible, and doesn't require you to die for it to be useful. And Daybreak is better than Self-Res in PvP. Good luck sniping a Daybreak flying at you at mach 7.

Wasn't Sunsinger removed because it broke PvE encounters? Bungie loved it in PvP, in fact, it was probably the only well-balanced subclass in PvP. Sure, you got a free res, but you were available to be sniped out of it for so long, without any I-frames, that you were a massive, glowing +1 to your enemy's KD. They even gave out a medal for killing a freshly res'd Sunsinger (... And stay down), almost like they knew that res'ing in PvP was almost definitely a bad idea... So yea, Sunsinger's not coming back any time soon...

1 ReplyAs a stormcaller main I feel offended that you would dare compare the true master race a dawnblade peasant

7 RepliesDawnblade is probably one of the furthest supers from Stormcaller in the game. If anything compare it to Hammer of Sol.

4 RepliesLol they removed self res because of PvE.

I can actually agree with this somewhat. The new solar super for warlocks seems inferior to sunsinger just in terms of "whoa warlock!!!". But, the one thing I found off about sunsinger was that it didn't act like a normal super, and really just boosted grenade and melee regen and stuff. Add self res to the D2 solar super warlock n I think we have a winner winner chicken dinner
