Tf was this?
-
Judging from the replies, this was, at one point, in a Destiny subforum. What it's doing here? I have no idea.
-
Yeah it also doesn’t help that pulses arent in an amazing place right now. There pretty good but in a meta of rushing shotguns and hand cannons they just don’t shine as bright
-
I don’t have it but I think it should be buffed
-
... I'd just like a blanket 340 buff, make so it can be like 4 crits and two bodies to kill...
not included in the DLC
-
When you are only couple points away from last required reset for it, and then can just claim it from Shaxx..
Should Broadsword be buffed?
"..Yeeesssh.."
-
i can't believe i grinned so much for this Trash pulse rifle
-
Not forgotten is the best hand cannon, Play of the game is the best grenade launcher
-
This is all the recommend buffs in the thread summed up. ”make the gun easier to use”

2 RepliesPeople don't use Broadsword/Claymore because you actually have to aim with it. Why else do you think everyone defaults to Bygones? Easiest spray and pray pulse in the game.
-
1 ReplyThe whole 340 archetype needs a buff in general. Adaptive frames are the meta currently and for the most part beat out Rapid-fire frames and High-impact frames. If they made the broadsword an Adaptive frame, it would topple the Bygones overnight.
-
1 ReplyJust needs to be same base rpm as bygones. That would literally fix it.
-
The weapon itself needs no buff. Just the Archetype. 340RPMs can 2 burst but they require all crits which is pretty hard and makes them inconsistent. Giving them a damage buff so may not all the shots have to be crits will make them viable and make perks like headseeker matter more. On top of that giving them more range will kinda prop them up into scout range (not too much so scouts stay viable). Giving players a reason to use them over Bygones and it’s archetype of Pulses...
-
Not forgotten is the best crucible hand cannon.
-
some might argue militias god roll is better than mountaintop. both are no where near the meta either way
-
Bygones. Sucks that the weapon you have to grind for is so far behind a weapon you can buy from the drifter.
-
Just get those nasty as guard rails out of the way and it would be more useable. Shit takes up half your screen

Edited by ImTooHungover: 12/31/2018 1:42:24 PMIts hard for me to tell. Cuz when i do proc Desp, it becomes godly. More so than Lunas i feel. It just shreds, easy to control with good range (you dont need to go Rambo with it lol). But procing Desp in PvP (in a convenient position with other enemies around) is not an easy task and getting a perfect 2 burst is difficult. So i find myself usually landing a 3rd burst with the kill being a body. This weapon is easy to aim and seems to have good magnetism to the head on consoles (this is my experience so far), but i do seem to come out with 1 or 2 precision shots shy of a 2 burst (tho not sure how 33 Precision damage is a 2 burst but i did get it a couple times just now). Those missed Precision shots are usually body shots of course. And unfortunately, other Pulse rifles are able to 3 burst with pretty good ease and have higher rates of fire. I also dont think Outlaw should be replaced with Feeding Frenzy like some say. Cuz I can already tell it would be busted. Once you proc Desp once with Feeding Frenzy, it would snowball way out of control fron there and you would be too hard to kill and would require little skill. At least with Outlaw, you need an aspect of skill to proc Desp and i think that is more than fair. But someone suggested bumping damage up slightly. This I would agree with. I think allowing 1 body shot/5 Crits to be the 2 burst would be a good test. I think 22 body/36 Precision Dmg. Just something to test out of course (primarily for consoles). Could be too much for all i know tho.

1 ReplyCrimal’s Dagger is better when paired with a bow or rampage.

6 RepliesEdited by NinjaBadgerBurn: 12/30/2018 5:20:15 PMI think they made a mistake with the curated roll tbh, as it's far from the best version of the weapon. After the slog of grinding out the Valor resets, it then took further grinding to get a role that feels right and even then there's still a better version that eludes me. I have one with : Polygonal rifling Ricochet rounds Handling masterwork which feels great, but... The one you want is: Arrowhead brake Ricochet rounds Handling masterwork Maximizing the stability and handling makes it perform like a whole other gun, you still have to proc the perk of course but even once it's up and running these rolls keep it under control. Edit: oh and Counterbalance Mod FTW
-
2 RepliesThey picked the hardest archetype of pulse rifle to be the pinnacle pulse rifle and made the perk based around precision kills, reloading, then controlling a 600 RPM pulse rifle. There is nothing easy about becoming proficient with Redrix. I would have been happier with kill clip and a range or stability buff.
-
That weapon is poop. The sights on it are absolute trash. F that weapon.
-
3 RepliesIf hand cannons get touched pulses are already insane, without a doubt are sleeper weapons currently. They’re not as good solely because hand cannons are unbalanced specifically Luna and not forgotten
-
While you're at it just delete scout rifles entirely.
-
buff the crit damage from 33 to 36 and body shots to 24. That way it is a little more forgiving and then boom you have a good gun.
