ADD MATCHMAKING FOR NIGHTFALLS ! ASAP !
Your inability to provide basic fundamental online game features is why the game is failing , this is needed since 2014

It shouldnt even take much time or resourses to implement something simple like this. Again its just a completely optional thing they can throw and people can continue to also use lfg and play with friends as they do now. It would just be a simple addition, nothing taken away. (I made a post like this before and some on the forums assume they would have to use an completely optional thing or it would take away from their friends/lfg experience when it clearly wont). Its weird when you bring up this topic people automatically assume that they would have to use it, makes no sense to me. You can continue to do what you do now, only change will be an extra node on your screen. But a simple completely optional addition that is going to just benefit the game and not take away from anyone is too good for bungie.

If it's optional, then YES. People should be able to opt in/out of the matchmaking feature.

I personally don't see why this wouldn't be a thing. I'd vote for it. People who want could still do lfg and those that are fine with taking their chances with randoms could use the matchmaking. It's not like you need a mic for nightfalls.

They probably don’t have mm for nightfalls because it would be utter shit. I’m glad they don’t and hope they never add it.

I actually gave this some thought and while the “matchmaking would pair with bad players” argument has some merit it quickly vanishes when you realize two thing. The first is that it would stop you from using Xbox lfg or running with your clan. The second is that you could have different levels of nightsfall. Not difficulty levels but have it be 540 recommended light for the nightfall but 580 to use matchmaking. That would guarantee that everyone who gets matched was high enough light to complete.

Whoever thinks matchmaking shouldnt be in a mmo based game is -blam!-ing dumb. It's a staple in damn near every MMO ever created. Just imagine people never created a LFG site, how would most of you people find players to play with. Would u be that kind of person randomly inviting people, btw, that's called blind invites. If not, you wouldn't be playing most end game content. Bungie even took years to make a lfg for their companion app. So essentially bungie itself had no lfg and matchmaking beyond strikes for the existence of D1. Guided games can take 40mins to pop as a seeker btw. As a team guiding, it will pop in 15 secs because the amount of seekers heavily outweighs the teams wanting to help.

Current match-making consists of You+1 on clan member and go into Guided games.
