Wanted: Combustor Valus Bug
Just finished doing the Adventure with a buddy who also had the bounty. We killed Valus and only he got rewards, where I was still stuck with the bounty. Not only that, the Adventure didn’t reappear, and finally I abandoned the bounty, and went to repurchase it from Spider in an attempt to be able to do it again. I purchased it from Spider for 5 ghost parts and the Adventure still didn’t appear. So yeah, I’ve missed out on some Powerful Gear and I know I won’t get compensated for it.

But I have yet to get this pos of a bounty to complete so i am going to try this out and see if this works with some friends of mine. I will come back and repost if this method works so people can atleast get it completed if they have not done so with friends that dont need it. ~Edited~ So i went and tested a theory and because i died everytime i came in when he was killed i wasnt getting credit. YOU must be ALIVE when the bounty boss is killed or you will not get a completed bounty. If you die at the point he dies or just before he dies your bounty will not complete.~~~

Exact same issue, me and 2 clan mates did this, took as forever and when we finally killed him, both clan mates got their bounty completed and their gear where I got nothing! Very frustrating as my game time is super limit and there goes my weekend :(. Hoping they can fix and confirm this was done so I can get credit and the power engram. VERY frustrating.

Same here did the adventure with some friends and they got it, but it didn’t work for me. I’m aware of this issue. But I don’t want to lose out on a powerful engram for the issues of Destiny. So can I have a powerful engram please? It’s well deserved

Same thing happened to me. Don’t worry though, you’ll be able to complete it on the next daily reset. I had just respawned in the previous room when my teammate killed Valus so I’m wondering if you need to be in the same room when he dies? The reason the mission disappeared is because you’re only allowed to do that heroic adventure once a day. Hope this helps.

Same here. Only the fire team member who dealt the final blow received the bounty completion and powerful gear. The other two of us got nothing.

I did it today with two clansmen.. They got it done but on my end nothing. I know bungie won't compensate people for it. With all the glitches, bugs and changes they're making a mess of the game...

I had the same issue. In a fireteam of three and only the fireteam leader got credit. Now I can't do the bounty because the adventure is gone. Nothing in the lost sector except the vex that are normally there.

Same deal. I was the fire team leader and both other members got the reward and bounty completion. Sucks when I’m trying to level for the raid too. Need every powerful drop I can get.

Same issue as you described. Had two help out, cleared the boss, couldn’t claim the bounty. If you can drop a few exotic engrams onto my acct, I’ll be happy with that too :D

Had to run the same mission 2 times with both characters - it seems that only one player out of 3 was randomly affected each time. My guess is try not to jump and continue fire/grenade/super to finish the boss so everyone gets the credit.

Same deal. I was fireteam leader. It show on screen that it was completed, but the bounty is still in my inventory. The adventure doesn't show on the map and the beacon outside the Lost Sector does not reappear. I hope this isn't part of some grand Bungo conspiracy to artificially inflate grind by randomly borking some drops. Considering the Offering bug and powerful engrams dropping at 500, it has give you pause to wonder...

Ditto. Two of my friends got it. I was left without anything. I still can’t see it. There is nothing there... I can’t solo what doesn’t exist.
