It would be cool if we could apply shaders to weapons it seems like something that would be easy to enable since you can preview exotics with shaders already the only issue I see is with some ornaments just being shaders themselves

This somehow doesn't work on SUROS I'll never see a modular shine on it.... );

Bump bump

The crimson ornament would look fantastic in metro shift.

1 ReplyEdited by N7_Dredgen: 7/11/2018 1:15:29 PMThe weird thing is if you preview a shader itself, it shows your character - full body, including your exotic weapon with that shader on. I've seen so many shaders that would make my SUROS sexy. So not only is it possible - the vast majority of the feature already exists, the colour channels on the guns are all set up - you just aren't allowed to apply it.

2 RepliesNow hold your horses my friend. If we allow shaders then there are gonna be options that look better than some of the ornaments and less reason for people to try for ornaments in eververse boxes! And we can't be losing out on that potential income now can we Bungie. Of course this wouldn't be an issue if shaders could also go on ornaments, but I wouldn't hold your breath for them to make a decision with thinking beyond "But eververse gets us cash"

Bump.

Yes please

yay traction

1 ReplyWE NEED DIS. NO QUESTION

1 ReplyDefinitely a big Plus 1 to this. Metro Shift on my Sweet Business would make it even Sweeter Business.

1 ReplyI hope bungie understands this.

Good idea! But that might be considered to much fun.

Black Sturm, like in the concept art

This company seems pretty terrible at the simple stuff. For instance, have you ever noticed where you're trying to apply shaders to anything, the text window covers whatever you're trying to apply a shader to. The farther right you go on the shade menu, the more that giant block of text covers whatever you're trying to apply the shade to. Great design!
