Iv had it.. EP is stupid.
Iv had one hell of a time for the past few hours trying to find people to play with. No one wants to play with a 383 nightstalker, running tractor cannon? Really? No one wants all those orbs and bonus DPS? Iv tried looking for groups. Iv ran circles around Mars. At this point, this is just fu-king stupid. This isnt feedback or anything, I am just beyond frustrated.

I like it. But last time I did an actual attempt my frames exploded and my game crashed on the boss so I said screw it and haven’t tried again.

33 RepliesI’ve yet to get past the 2nd wave. I’m never going to get any of that EP loot. The no lifers have already farmed it to death and moved on, and the rest of us have given up on it because it’s unclimbable mountain if you are under leveled ( and stupid progression system is broken as -blam!- ).

Step three: fast travel between both points until one finds a group of 3 or more. Step four: invite randoms to party chat. *If players refuse to join or are to low, repeat steps 3 and 4.* Step five: join on the player (or get joined on) that is in the same session as said randoms. Step six: make post on "Find Fireteam" asking for required amount of guardians. *"EP 370+ Light, experienced please" should work fine (feel free to customize to your liking).* Step seven: Have new lfg guardians join on previous randoms. Step eight: ???. Step nine: profit.

2 RepliesIt’s not working. Everytime I’m on Mars people just farm adds for quests. Then leave. I’ve never ran into randoms who have completed it. It’s always lfg teams. This is not what was this was designed for. A lot of the time I’ll kill the witch then people just run off? I’ve given up doing it. I don’t want to lfg this was made for a public event. Not lfg! Bungie needs to fix it! Cannot stand lfg events! Let me solo events that give good rewards...

Edited by conkus805: 6/28/2018 3:16:45 AMDon't give up man, I was getting a little irritated as well. I just hung out on Mars near the ep tower and people started showing up that were in the 380's. Not more than a minute later I got a message asking if I wanted to do ep. I joined them, got a 9 man team going in less than 10 minutes and proceeded to demolish everything in our way. Wound up beating it 3 times until the group disbanded due to it being late at night. I think I was 369 as well. Never got passed level 3 previous to this encounter. My point, keep at it.

It’snot that nobody wants what you are offering, it’s that at the same time as posting an lfg the group is also asking the team mates if they have anybody to join. If they do, then the group gets filled without it showing up on lfg that the group is full. You need to be proactive when you decide you want to join a group and push. Nobody is going to come looking for you, so you need to put the effort in to find a group. If you’re not willing to do that then I don’t really think you have a mandate to moan about it.

are you serious, 383, just post on lfg, msg people looking on lfg, and join groups in find fireteams on this website. I find the best luck with finding groups on here than on lfg

I'm not a no lifer. My gaming time is restricted by my 7 month old son and finding time to spend with my wife. D2 is bottom on my priorities. I have all EP weapons and enough clears to have the emblem variable. Just use lfg. I don't understand all the complaing lately about time and grind. Even with faction rally. Do the daily 5 days and you will be rank 50 no problem. Less than an hour of gameplay a day during first one netted me 52 ranks with dead orbit. Starting to think people are just daft.

Make your own team on lfg. People will flock to you and it’s honestly easy to set up a server since everyone wants to do it.

At this point, I’m thinking EP is only going to be popular during Shotgun rotation. But even that can change if people begging to think Tractor Cannon is just as good LMAO!!!!! Saw a video with 9 Tractor Cannons on boss and laughed!! The cope for not having EP shotgun is rough!

We get start a fireteam of 3 and a chat group with max of 8. Respawn into the EP areas (we like Drift best) over and over until you see some 380-ish guardians. Invite them to your chat. Ask if they want to EP and if they would be willing to host some of your buddies. Most of the time you'll find friendly folks who want EP completions too. Have your teammates join the others via the chat session. Invite a couple more friends to your fireteam. Now you should have 7 and if a random or two join the room you'll have a full 9 in the instance. Start up EP and profit. You can also LFG - I haven't, but I have buddies who have and it worked fine. This works - I have all 3 full sets of EP armor and all Ikelos weapons.

Night stalker is beast for ep add control but when it comes to the boss the bow cancels off the melting point and whatever else and the bows suppression doesn't effect the power of heavy weapons unfortunately. Quite a lot of night stalkers still don't know this

Personally I'd play escalation protocol with anyone. Warlocks are great but it doesn't really matter.

If you’re that guy who posts on LFG, “383 Nightstalked Hunter w/ Tractor Cannon” looking to join group. I promise, nobody will pick you. Create your own team like everyone else suggests.

2 RepliesBecause 1 Titan and 2 Hunters are sufficient. The rest should be Warlocks. The chances of the most played class already feeling a team is very small. Here’s a pro tip for you though: MAKE YOUR OWN TEAM.

Make your own team dude. If you have one or two friends that want to do it, try and get a server started. If you get the 3 members, including yourself in the same zone, youll have no issue getting ppl to join a premade server

4 RepliesIs your clan active? If you have a set group that you do raids with you can easily six man it. Just match two of your players in the same instance and bing bang boom Bob's your uncle.
