only Tuesday matters
Then till next reset... this cap rewards/ time gated level up, has to end
IB was not helpfull, not even exotics help anymore... the only way to level up now is glitching, but I am not cool with that.

I just figured that's what Bungie wanted, for us to spend less time playing. I mean pop in on Tuesday, complete a few milestones and not play again until next Tuesday. It's really alright though as it gives me more time to enjoy better games.

I usually complete the milestones on both my Hunter and Warlock, then revert to playing Destiny 1. I STILL can't get the Queen's helmet for my Warlock.

4 RepliesYup.. Everything past reset milestones is now utterly pointless. Even more worthless than before. Any game that requires 5 other ppl to progress is not working IMO Before I had several sets of armour to choose from.. now it's only 1.. What's the point of collecting gear now?

It's Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for me. Then I play other games.

The milestones are what matter following reset. I used to play Destiny enough that one day was all I needed to maximize my power/Light level. Takes me a few more days now, but, there is nothing else to grind for that doesn't loose your interest.

I'm OK with only playing on Tuesdays (and maybe a Friday visit to Xur). There are lots of other good games out there and I like having the time to play them. I don't need Destiny to keep me entertained 24/7.

Yep. Realizing there is nearly no depth to the endgame, Bungie opted to artificially stretch out the grind by arbitrary soft caps. What it instead does is encourage punctiliar play: Log in on reset, do the milestones...then go play something else because there is almost no reason to remain in D2 after the milestones. It’s truly bizarre.
