2 RepliesNot suprising . The Xbox 1S is basically the equivalent of the release version of PS4. So the jump from the original Xbox 1 to Xbox 1x is a HUGE power upgrade....and will make a big difference in how well games run, and how good they look. Its only taken 4 years for Xbox to recover from the mistakes it made, thinking it dominated the market and that consumers had no other options.

eh, kinda hard not to be when they've discontinued the original xbone. after that stock runs out, there will only be the slim models and the x models. what's more is that it doesn't truly have the CPU for 4K 60 FPS Ultra in first party AAA games like GoW, it has framerate interpolation, motion blur and other effects to make it seem like it is 4K 60 instead of 1800FPS. PS4 Pro had the same problem since they use the same AMD Jaguar(custom bulldozer variant) APU. don't really care though, xbox has so little original content that isn't rehashed, rebooted or recycled. generally, i'm tired of the lack of original content in games these days.

I was surprised and pleased that MS acknowledged it's fans with the Project Scorpio Edition. Very nice touch and thank you. Got 2 pre ordered. Can't wait for the 7th.

8 RepliesThat's great that it's selling well. Personally I decided not to get one when they didn't drop a road map of games that would be coming. Not to start a console war but Sony has games laid out through at least 2019, maybe longer. I really would have liked to see something similar from Xbox.

And what's the point of a 'powerful' new console when they have 1 exclusive the rest of the year. I could throw money to the wind or burn it too but why? I just don't get people.

6 RepliesWhat does that even mean though? They're not releasing any statistics. Is it the number of hours it took to sell X-amount of units, the number of units sold for X-amount of hours or the amount if time it took to exhaust supply?

"Fastest" selling is pretty vague. I think we can say pretty definitively it won't be the "best" selling Xbox console just as we could say the same about the PS4 Pro and every other premium SKU of a console.

5 RepliesIt would be sad if it wasn't since Pre ordering online wasn't huge in 2001 or 2005, the Xbox one had the worse image problem before it was released, and the S was announced the same time as a the X so people waited.
