It's a huge blanket nerf to every single aspect of d1. Movement, guns, abilities, health, etc....
Yay "fun"
*edit: wow This is trending
*edit 2: also lets not forget that there is ZERO customization In regards to weapons, armor loadout/tiers. It could be just the beta but there is definitely no customization within each subclass.

D2 is shaping up to be amazing. So sorry they took away your OPenis
-
At least they added accurate hip-fire, which is nice.

1 ReplyThe only thing I can offer is that we are 10 light levels below the recommended amount for the strike. Run a strike in d1 ten below what you should be and share your experience. I doubt it will feel that much different but food for thought regardless.
-
1 ReplyAlso the casual and competitive playlist in crucible use SBMM. SO WHAT THE -blam!- IS THE DIFFERENCE?
-
3 Repliesits just sooooo bad, both pvp and pve, I ran out of all ammo and abilitys on the strike, I just left,,,?
-
16 RepliesTo everyone complaining, you do know that this is a beta, right?
-
3 RepliesCan everyone stop crying what's the big deal? So you can spam Grenades and run around with a shotty? I love it get good and stop relying on a shotgun or an ability to win a battle get more head shots and have more skill and you'll enjoy this game

Changing the primary's TTK to similar to what it is in D1 could make it tolerable. I don't mind a forced primary meta , but the way too slow time to kill just ruins it. Fell asleep last night with the ringing of a pulse rifle tap tap tap, tap tap tap tap tap still in my head.

i played 5 minutes of the beta. after the first fight at the tower I had to clean my pants. #win.
-
7 RepliesI don't know about you but I can't wait to raid. It's going to be the tits. Everyone has to use primary's and no one will have ammo for heavy or power cause that will get nerfed when we have rockets all day. Year on destiny we know bungie. So yeah it's going to take all week or month to clear. But now we all have to use primary's. did I mention that in pvp you have to use a primary in fact there so good you get two.
-
I love d2 I think it's good where it's at now, and I can't wait for the full game to release but too each their own
-
3 RepliesI was hyped for D2, but after seeing some livestreams of the beta and seeing and hearing how everything is, now I'm not so sure. Yes I understand it's a beta and some of these things may change upon release, but it makes me glad I didn't preorder. I'll likely wait until after the release to see if any of these issues have been addressed before deciding now.
-
62 RepliesYeah, its almost like its balanced and fair now. Weird.

9 RepliesI feel like those complaining about the beta are those who can't finish a strike, who can't get over a 1 kda in crucible. It is a different game, it will play slightly differently. That means adapting. My first strike and first few crucible runs were excruciatingly painful. Then I got used to it, adjusted, played it as a new game and not as D1, and guess what? I had the time of my life. This is a new game, which means you will need to throw away a good amount of your D1 tendencies. If you can't do that, then don't buy it. But you'll miss out on what will easily be an amazing game.
-
Not sure what game you are playing. But I am having a lot of fun
-
Personally I like it. But I can tell you right now that the warlock and smg and fusion rifle are gonna be the meta.
-
Lol, yeah but it's fun though
-
19 RepliesBungie have said this is not the current build, it's an older build to test the servers they said they are aware of the slow abilities regen and that it's different to what will release .
-
5 RepliesI know this is the Beta, but one of the much needed improvements would be to map ammo synthesis tobthe D-pad when not in a social environment. I somehow think this won't happen, but one lives in hope.
-
8 RepliesDestiny player logic complains about the game not be comp. and being ability heavy. Bungie fixes the problems and everyone's like oh no I can't get 10 ability kills a game and actually have to aim to get a kill. Hypocritical asf. D2 has major comp potential so I'm going to say most people bitchin are trash.
-
18 RepliesAs a long time Halo and Destiny player, I'm having the time of my life. I personally love games with long TTK as it invokes teamwork and more strategy to defeat your opponent. I like each fight with my fellows Guardians to to be a great and memorable one!!
-
The sad thing is, people are still going to complain that some weapons and abilities (Albeit in the 6 crucible games I've played I didn't get to use my super ONCE and I was dominating everyone) are too OP, and Bungie are going to nerf them Hard, even though everything has been nerfed super hard already
-
3 RepliesDon't start hating this is only beta kid
-
68 RepliesDid you actually want to play the exact game as Destiny 1 for another 3 years? Change is good and the changes in D2 are GOOOD! Get some skill, get some friends and be a better player. Good players adapt, bad players cry!
-
If enemy health and resistances are scaled down by a similar percentage then it's more a number squash than a nerf. To be honest I have only 2 major complaints for the beta. 1. The constant disconnects which I hope is the purpose of the beta for bungie to find and fix these for release. 2. The ability cooldowns feel way too long but this may be due to our armor not having any mods in them which may grant int/disc/str Power ammo drops would be a third point but they are already looking into it.
