So basically d2 is..
It's a huge blanket nerf to every single aspect of d1. Movement,guns, abilities, health, etc....

*edit 2: also lets not forget that there is ZERO customization In regards to weapons, armor loadout/tiers. It could be just the beta but there is definitely no customization within each subclass.

36 RepliesYear 1 - fun, fast, unbalanced but only if you didn't play the meta, competitive (primaries are great and special is as well) Year 2 - fun, medium paced, balanced, competitive with lots of tourneys (primaries are good and special is balanced) Year 3 - ehh, medium paced, unbalanced and very special reliant with the nerfs, not competitive at all (primaries are trash other than hand cannons and special is ok but harder to get) Year 4/Destiny 2 - boring, slow paced, unbalanced, power ammo is extremely overpowered and supers are a joke (primaries are very weak and abilities are as well) So basically each year of destiny bungie nerfed more and more as we many of us asked for the opposite. Now 3-4 years later with destiny 2 we have a extreme nerf on everything, which makes the game completely different and stale. Honestly bungie... WTF?!

I think they did the math and those of us who can figure this out and care are not economically important to their future. They will go forward with this watered down shell of a game and if all those who played for the first 3 years vanish they feel it will work out or something I guess. I honestly can't understand it in the least but I must assume that most of us on here just don't make up what ever they see as their target game playing audience.

3 RepliesDestiny 2 is a fire-team of 4 team-shooting simulator / cover shooter. They slowed movement They slowed the game They slowed ttk Making it a much less hectic arena Then they Buffed the stats All these were done to help lesser players. They took d1 pvp, nerfed the hell out of it, and dumbed down anything else they could think of. Where the hell is the fun? I win most games I have very good stats most games It should be fun right? But its not, its boring.

Below each weapon as you inspect it are tons of potential mods, paintjobs etc. We just don't have any to use during the beta. Also as for class customization, you see the square shape box in the upper right with 4 preselected perks? Yeah, I'm willing to bet that is where the class customization will be rooted. We can't select or change it now, but come final game I'm sure we will gave plenty of different mods to swap in those boxes. There is also another class mod placeholder with another 4 squares in the bottom right when you view the details of your subclass. So you could theoretically have 8 different modifiers for each subclass. Maybe even more.

D2 is a slowed down weaker version of D1 based on my experience playing the beta. Altering both the movement and gun mechanics in D2 were/are mistakes IMO given that these two elements are what made D1 a good game despite the issues.

6 RepliesA bunch of pvp-oriented nerfs to everything that are making pve boring and bland. I hope Bungie is proud that their game is now catering to streamers and kids that are obsessed with making pvp 'sweaty'. I spent countless hours in d1 but I doubt I'm buying this.

It's funny how I still see Guardians ability spam and expect to get kills without using their guns.I love mowing down titans shoulder charging and warlocks trying to Meele me with my Sweet Business.

16 RepliesSeems like it's a slowed down/weaker version of D1. Of course that could be because we haven't full unlocked abilities yet. For those saying it's only a beta, we're a little over a month from official release...what you see now, is what you're gonna get. Remember the D1 beta? That was exactly what we got.

7 RepliesWell at least they just have to buff everything rather than nerf it. I'd be more pissed if the beta (which isn't a beta - it's a 2 hour demo) was all singing all dancing and upon release they'd removed it all. We've been there before..... Some will love it. Some will hate it. The vocal on this forum will hate it, just as they've hated everything about destiny for the past 2.5 years regardless of what changes. By mid September weapon nerfs will be shouted about. By December someone will spot something in a trailer that's since been left on the cutting room floor and scream cut content. Forbes will write an article. A streamer will agree. It will trend. Bungos fault The world will keep spinning. The end.
