If you need a decent gaming headset for under $20
I saw some post on raiding without a headset and someone mentioned that there could be several reasons someone does not play with a headset, which if you prefer not to, that is fine, it will just be harder to find people to play with and communicating is part of the fun. Anyway, one of the reasons listed was not having enough money to purchase a quality headset.
I was on Kotaku.com today and they had an Amazon link for some Sades that are $13 with a promo code today (promo code: 6AH8Z83N, also listed below).
I have a pair of Sades that I have had for a little over 2 years and I love them. They have good sound quality and ave very comfortable for long sessions. My brother has some $90 Turtle Beaches that I can't even tell the difference between the quality of them and the Sades. I swear I do not work for Sades in any way, I'm just trying to help out some guardians in need.
This headset also works with Xbox, PS4, or PC so you could buy one headset and use it for all three if you have all 3.

I use earforce p4c from meijer. Costs 20 bucks. Have some turtle beaches but they suck ass in party chat on ps4.

13 RepliesI'm just using the headphones that I got with my phone at the moment. Bought some Turtle Beach XOSevens last year and my big head wore out the hinges in about 6 months. $160 for 6 months lol. Anyone know any good headsets that won't break from large heads? 😅

Things to remember when wearing a mic. Mute when eating. Mute when talking to your parents/family. Don't pay music. Actually talk if you have it on, don't just cough or scratch your nose. Don't use a voice changer, if you're too young to talk to strangers online, you don't need a mic.

3 RepliesI play on both consoles and use the PS4 earpiece. I like it because it's light and people can hear me clearly. I think you can get one on eBay for less than $10. Just to clarify, the earpiece will be work on the Xbox one controller that has a headset socket. I use mine with the Xbox one S.

My Turtle Beach's broke, so I was looking for something cheap and wireless. They can also be used with PC. Just plug in the USB adapter (included), and bam! You're ready to go. They're not chat only either. You can use the All Audio option with them. I have a 5 euro headset and I buy 1 once every year or so the mic qualify is fine and as long as I treat it gently it'll last for a year easy, thing is I have money for a more expensive one but I just don't need it. Go to a local store get a 5 euro headset and tape the bottom plug so it can't move too much and use that it'll be fine

Hey, thanks man! Kind of been wanting a new headset, been rocking some Turtle Beach Recon's for the past 2-3 years, but with Destiny 2 and it's quasi raid matchmaking, and the fact that I don't have a young child anymore, it's been nigh time I get a new one. And it was cheaper than my tb's!
