President Trump will deliver a speech about radical Islam to leaders of Muslim countries when he is in Saudi Arabia for his first foreign trip, the White House said Tuesday.
The speech, said National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster, will be "inspiring yet direct" about the need to confront radical ideology.
"The speech is intended to unite the broader Muslim world against common enemies of all civilization and to demonstrate America's commitment to our Muslim partners," said McMaster.
It is unclear if any of the the leaders from the seven Muslim-majority countries Trump initially singled out in his first executive order imposing a travel ban — Iraq, Iran, Syria, Sudan, Libya, Somalia, and Yemen — will be in attendance at the meeting. The second draft of the order removed Iraq from this list, and both are currently held up in court.
The White House did not respond to questions about the countries in attendance, Saudi Arabia has invited Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir, who the International Criminal Court has a warrant for regarding war crimes in Darfur, to the summit with Trump, according to the Associated Press.
McMaster said the speech would be given at a lunch with leaders of more than 50 Muslim countries, although he did not specify what leaders would be in attendance and from what countries.
McMaster did say that Trump would be holding bilateral meeting with members of the Gulf Cooperation Council, but none of those countries are part of that group.
The speech will likely draw increased attention to what is already supposed to be a high profile trip, given his rhetoric about Muslims in the United States, which many pundits and Democrats have deemed discriminatory. Trump's attempt to implement a travel ban followed his call on the campaign trail for a "complete and total shutdown" of Muslims entering the United States.
"The common thread linking the major Islamic terrorist attacks that have occurred on our soil — 9/11, the Ft. Hood shooting, the Boston bombing, the San Bernardino attack, the Orlando attack, is that they have involved immigrants or the children of immigrants," he said in Ohio last summer. "Clearly new screening procedures are needed."
She is a Yemani victim of the genocide that is being perpetrated by the Saudi regime that good old Donald J. Trump just signed a $110 billion arms deal with. So when you ask yourself, what will Donald J. Trump's legacy be... think of this picture and the many like it to come - well done Donald.

Edited by Cerberus64: 5/20/2017 5:05:39 PMSo Donald and Melanie have arrived in Saudi Arabia to lecture the locals on how to be good muslims - but wait a minute - Melania wasn't wearing a headscarf! That's OK - Angela Merkel didn't wear one, Condolisa Rice didn't wear one and neither did Michele Obama when she visited Saudi Arabia. Except that wasn't OK for one person... Donald J. Trump who tweeted on the 29th Jan 2015, "Many people are saying it was wonderful that Mrs. Obama refused to wear a scarf in Saudi Arabia, but they were insulted. We have enuf (sic) enemies”. Anyone would think the guy was a hypocrite.

8 RepliesEdited by LxGhostSniperxL: 5/18/2017 6:23:32 PMWhat a tool of the "swamp". Saudi Arabia gives women little to no rights. Saudi Arabia helps fund and arms terrorists all around the globe. Saudi Arabia helped cause 9/11. Saudi Arabia calls all Atheists terrorists and kills them. Saudi Arabia has public executions for witchcraft and stones people to death. Saudi Arabia is bombing the $#!t out if Yemen and purposely blockading the country which will starve 16 million people killing millions of civilians. Saudi Arabia has powerful political influence in the U.S. as they buy and donate to politicians all the time indirectly (Hillary, Donny Boi). Saudi Arabia is a terrorist state just like Iran, actually even worse than Iran. At least women have more rights in Iran. We fund, help, and are allied with Saudi Arabia because of $$$. Because they have oil. And yet the U.S. parades around as a leader in human rights and democracy. Disgusting. I see this administration won't be changing its ethics or morals any time soon. Trump is a sellout.

3 RepliesIf terrorists aren't "real" Muslims and Wahabism is the core instigator for most Muslim extremism, then wouldn't it make sense that the home base of Wahabism (Saudi Arabia) might need to learn what "real"Islam is?
-
Well, this will go over like a led zeppelin

3 RepliesEdited by Demigod: 5/18/2017 3:06:11 PMSo, Trump is going to cuck for Islam? What a surprise.

-
2 RepliesIt doesn't take much inferencing to work out that'll be talking about isis not Islam. While I'm not a fan of both they're both separate groups and shouldn't be lumped together

1 ReplyNot a speech on Islam, a speech on RADICAL Islam. But, then again, what'd I expect from the cherrypicker?
