Is an empress? Maybe it's just the armour they wear or maybe bungie just hasn't thought about it. There seems to be zero females in a highly militant race, that resembles masculinity more than anything else.
I'm not making this post to say "This game is sexist" because blah de blah! I believe that's entirely stupid altogether.
I'm just wondering is all.
Edit: I've been proven wrong :(
In any case a big THANK YOU to everyone has replied!

Could be. The Fallen has a Queen, heard this from standing around FWC Lakshmi-2. One of the female NPC mentioned it. Now the interpretation could be in reference to Mara Sov but who really knows. Bungie likes to create conversation within a conversation when it comes to lore because they can't get their sh!t straight. Wouldn't surprise me if it was true with the Cabal.

5 RepliesThey're based off of the Roman empire. There were no female Roman soldiers.

1 ReplyThe females are baking cookies and having babies

I believe it was called Emperor in multiple missions, in the Shield Brothers strike mainly. Either way, I never see why this matters at all

14 RepliesThere's a lot we don't know about the Cabal. Maybe we'll find out more about them in D2. I hope that Bungie will either explain why they're so bad and we should be killing them despite common enemies. I mean, THINK ABOUT IT! You've just seen your closest allies decimated by an immensely powerful and evil enemy (Oryx). Through great risk, you create a beachhead on his ship. You happen to see that the Cabal has done the exact same thing, and for the same reason: they want Oryx dead too. DO YOU: A. Contact the Cabal. Say: "Hey, guys. You're hunting Oryx. We're hunting Oryx. Wanna hunt him together?" B. Contact the Cabal. Say: "Hey, guys. You're hunting Oryx. We're hunting Oryx. Why don't we just agree not to shoot at each other until he's toast?" C. Shoot at the Cabal. The Cabal shoots at you. You destroy a bunch of legionaries, phalanxes, Colossuses, and tanks that could have killed thousands of thralls or acolytes or Taken, wasting ammo that could have killed thousands more thralls or acolytes or Taken. And Crota sits in his ascendant whatever and laughs his ugly a** off. To paraphrase Dark Helmet, "Evil will always win when good is dumb."

1 ReplyFemale legionaries, colossus, centurion, and phalanx look just like feminists/SJW

Even Bungie doesn't know anything about the cabal.

With the way females were acting during the recent rallies, I hope every enemy I've put down has been female.

8 RepliesNormal cabal are male. Psions are female. Consider the size difference between the two. Think about that for a moment. ...
your welcome for that mental image.
8 RepliesEdited by Ghostfire239: 2/1/2017 7:12:25 PMBecause if there were female enemies, feminist would call from ban on T-bagging the enemy Lol (jk...although now that I think about they probably would) In all seriousness there are females in the enemy races it's just hard to tell what with all the armor and well we don't really how the biological physique of the enemy genders work or if there is a difference- I'm gonna stop before this gets weird, is that okay?

6 RepliesIt's been called an emperor in-game. They wouldn't just make up something to call it. The vanguard have intercepted transmissions and what-not. They know it's an emperor.

2 RepliesMake a race called feminist, high in bullshit comments low in common sense
ya triggered
7 RepliesFeminists 2017- "We are clearly oppressed, especially in the video game Industry! In destiny none of the expansions have featured a female enemy! We forced Bungie to make the Emperor an empress to make women around the world feel more welcome in the virtual one!"

Find out in Destiny 2 bud

Well cabal are based on roman and women didnt really fight back then. Some fallen are distinguished as female, Vex are robots and female hive are all wizards so I don't think its a coincidence that there are distinguished cabal females
-
2 RepliesNot a bad idea. If not be surprised if the whole shebang is run by females and the men/soldiers are grown in crèches or pods or some such. It would be just radical enough a departure from our current understanding that it could make for a fun twist, if done properly.
-
14 RepliesI'd like to see the Cabal have more conquered allies/slaves, like the Psions fighting with them. Hopefully they flesh the Psions out with more unique enemies to fight too, but they could also have 1 or 2 new enemy factions, with fleshed out units too.
And more unique Cabal units of course
Edited by filwilliamson: 2/1/2017 5:17:53 PMYou just made me remember a debate I had on the forums about the identity of the emperor. I than told the others the emperor was actually a business minded dreg who thought it would be more financially beneficial to rule the cabal empire. Good times.
But the real question is, was the dreg male or female?
