After all the negativity on the forums here I just want to post something positive.
I
AM
LOVING
STRIKE SCORING!
Strikes have Always been my favo Destiny activity and it is a blast seeing all those medals and kills pop up in my screen. Dragonsbreath + scoring + enemy spawn location = hella FUN
I have to say Bungie; Well done!
Anyone else loving this feature?
*Edit; You can see your individual score by scrolling to the right at the scoring screen!
*Edit; I cant believe Cozmo replied :') #Nerdgasm

3 RepliesYea random numbers popping up on your screen while you do the same thing you've been doing for the last 3 years is so game changing and lit. At this point they can add a shit emoji on screen everytime you get a kill and you fanboys will praise it like its some game changing update. This game is pathetic what's the point of strike scoring if they don't even have leaderboards? Just another example of how shitty destiny alpha phrase is.

247 RepliesThe team worked hard on Strike scoring, I will pass along your thanks to them. We are glad you are enjoying it. It's very important that you give feedback on ways we can improve Destiny, but it's also good to let us know what you are enjoying so we can keep creating similar results.

Would love to run it. Mostly a PvE player myself. But most of the time I'm too busy doing the Queen's Bounties! Gotta get the full set! Great improvement on the Queen's Bounties too by the way.
-
Now I can always prove I always carry the team in strikes! Thanks Bungie!

Also fun to hack away at a thrall swarm, get heavy streak, heavy spree, heavy rampage rapid fire.

DM ME 4 noodz

I am also enjoying strike scoring, but I would still like to see boss damage in the stats after the strike.

I've noticed less afk players since the scoring was implemented. It seems that most people I'm matched up with want to get a high score for the most part. Only one time so far have I run into a griefer and that was on the new nexus strike where they held onto the aegis shield and hid in a corner. After 5 minutes of that I left but other than that all been good.

1 ReplyEdited by Zephyr: 12/20/2016 8:35:33 PMAgree 100%. Just made strikes fun for me again. Way more fun than scoring in poe. And the return of nexus mind which is one of my faves. Just need to get icebreaker now...still need to do my hunter and warlock this week so still hope.

1 ReplyWhen I get a Rainbow medal, I start to announce like Shaxx.

Strike scoring literally changed nothing. Throw a few more numbers & effects on the screen, the crowd goes wild!

10 RepliesEdited by lonewolf0234: 12/20/2016 5:02:59 PMStrikes are still boring and pointless. You can put lipstick on a pig but it is still a pig

4 RepliesSmall things to make it just that much better imo Why no extra points for crit kills/medals? And the ending screen, don't care for the total team score. Main screen should show what each member did not a tiny box on the bottom second screen. Also damage numbers to boss, but that's meh

5 RepliesStrike scoring is cool, the way its implemented is stupid. I just played with a guy that simply stole points all the way through. For example... me & my other teammate got the archons life down to a sliver while our other teammate hid/afk'ed, at the point where we would have killed archon he suddenly came to life, fired 2 sniper shots & took the 5k boss points for himself. He did this for the entire strike, just waiting till an enemy was almost dead & then he took the kill & pts, he finished with double our pts & he hardly did anything. This needs to be fixed, pts need to be shared according to dmg done & not kill = all pts.

1 ReplyI enjoy it but I still wish they would have added total damage to the bosses. I guarantee I'm doing at least 60% on most strikes if not more than my strike buddies.
-
3 RepliesI think strike scoring is nice as well. Though, it triggered me when arc burn was on and people kept stealing my kills with a zhalo when I was trying to get grenade sprees with pulses. Also, undying mind with yellow health/high tier vex may be the wet dream of a fist of havoc titan (it was for me).

1 Replyits cool, although i dont do a single thing differently from how i did so before.
-
Yes, I agree that it's fun.
-
1 ReplyI agree! Strike scoring is lots of fun. Nothing like shooting a rocket/super at a bunch of grouped up enemies and seeing your score (and them) explode! Thanks Bungie!
-
-
How? All they did was copy and paste the crucible score system and change it at a little, still the same strikes
-
Great to see so many people enjoy this new feature like I am. With al the negative posts on the forum its easy to forget Destiny is a great game which brings a lot of fun. Happy scoring guardians!
-
1 ReplyI agree, that shit is fun as hell. The only negative i have about it is that damn 'concentrated fire' bounty. It's hard as hell to get enough assists to get that medal for some reason lol.
-
3 RepliesAnyone else find that strike scoring is not only masses of fun, but also changes the way you approach the game? I don't just mean slowing people down from rushing strikes, but also the weapons you use and when you use them. It's brilliant! That is the greatest achievement of this amazingly simple, but brilliantly implemented, addition to our game.

1 ReplyThe only thing I'd rather see with Strike Scoring is Individual Scoring, and Bounties based on it. I figured Strike Scoring would fix the AFK/not helping problem, but it didn't. I still end each Strike with nearly double the other players Medals, and about 45-60% of the Score just by myself. Kind of irks me whenever I see the Reward Screen and that's the case...
