So, on the subject of Hunter Speed...
Hunters, are described as the fastest class in game, but we don't have anything that can compare with titan skating and dune marchers. I'm not saying titan skating and dune marchers need to be REMOVED, but I think hunters could use a speed boost.
So people are arguing there's a difference between agility and speed. Well, that doesn't make much of a difference in terms of titans being able to speed through everything while a hunter lags behind, titans shouldn't be this much faster than hunters.

I do think its a bit annoying that a titan can basically cruise right by me, its not game breaking but I feel like warlocks and hunters could use something to slightly balance this. Im not talking massive buff or titan is fast so slow it down because nerfing never works right in this game, I just want a slight buff. ALSO BUFF HAWKMOON FFS!

70 RepliesEdited by RuGbYxROTHSTIEN: 10/31/2016 5:19:24 AMWarlocks ...the most cheating -blam!-in class in the game and easiest of all to master but they always say hunters are OP...wow u warlocks amaze me soo much...u know damn well self res and solar -blam!-in grenades everywhere,melee shields, flying and stopping in mid air to shoot with accuracy & void bombs that can wipe out a whole team in trials n a lot of players in crucible...storm caller which us Hunters only can run from and 70% of time u catch us anyways and were supposedly the fastest class (yea right)...don't get me wrong I'm a hunter all day my first character when this game was beta my class was a Hunter, I run 3 of em now since Crota wen I was carrying warlocks on my back because us hunters mastered the sword skills to take crota down in 2 downs not just with RT's either (pro hunters should know the technique back in crota to get six hits in every time he kneels) n yes we can wipe a team out also with blade but it takes alot more skill to do that now, than just throwing a Nova Bomb in mid air....the blade dancer nerf had to be one of the worst nerfs bungie done cus now warlocks n Titans rule PVP and yea looks like bungie is going more into pleasuring ur class also... in trials now with no respawn but u -blam!-ers can still self respawn oh and guess wut when u do it now we don't even know where the -blam!- u are cus of no radars Smh we jus here the resurrection and prey ur not behind us Shitt I seen one res wipe out a whole trials team soooo much times ridiculous smh u gotta have mad skills to be a great Hunter...u don't need great skills to be a warlock or Titan I'll tell ya that much tbh

Dude hunter are more agile, titans while they are the fastest during skating they can only do that in straight line and in areas with hight ceiling plus titans jump the highest but not the fastest. Hunters are more agile mening that they usually can sprint faster, they have a lot more of maneuverability in the air, they can recover from a fall and they have perks focused on pure gunplay like quickdraw or chain of woe, the only class that can use to the full the vertical space in the game are hunters, titans are a sitting duck in the air only moving forward with twillight garrison the can move to the sides and back, warlocks are floating targets when using angel of light and the are slower than titans.

Played hunter for nearly two years. Made a Titan and warlock and noticed that hunters are complete shit compared to these two classes.

2 RepliesIf anything Warlocks need a speed boost. Hunters and Titans both have Leg Exotics that let them move faster while sprinting. While the Warlocks did finally get a Leg Exotic, it only speeds them up while crouching.

They're the most agile. Agility=/= Speed But if Hunters need a speed boost, then my Titan gets an armor boost.[spoiler]Who cares about the 'locks am I right? ;)[/spoiler]

Everyone crying abt the dune marchers.... me and my friend, a hunter, sprinted side by side in a straight line, with my dune marchers equipped and he still beat me there and back. Titans can't have anything without someone crying about it.

Edited by darkfool7: 10/31/2016 6:59:17 PMHunters are fast overall.. not just in walking, example: bladedancer will let you use a perk to ready weapons almost instantly, plus the sliding is quite nice too, the gunslingers have the chain of woe and the gunslinger trance, wich is pretty good on weapons reloading and fast improvisation with primaries And yea while titans skate... think about it, the skate is more agressive wich fits their class, hunters have the maximus agility but for general pourpose

I think hunters are fine where they are at right now (besides supers but that's a whole other convo). Our agility and speed are pretty good and Titans needed something bc they're soooooo slow. Try the new exotic boots and the artifact that lets you run without a Cool down.

Faster sprint, faster walking speed, faster jump with greater height or distance depending on which jump you're using, maybe give Bones of Eao the ability to grant a wall-jump or wallrun ability. There, you got what you want. Have fun being the class that always acts like it's had too much caffeine.

Yeah man since the roi update warlocks and Titans have caught up with our speed and we've been left twiddling our thumbs as all of our talents are being found in other classes and artifacts now.

I run faster than all of my other characters with my hunter. Dune Marchers are shite and titan skate was already nerfed once. Sounds like a you problem.
