There is more than meets the eye about getting killed by the architects.
I am sure many players, new and old, have encountered the death screen in which it says one was "Killed by The Architects". This happens when the game can't quite pinpoint what the cause of death for your gaurdian was. Then today, while I was sucking at Iron Banner, I noticed something fishy about it... "Killed by The Architects"... then it dawned on me, why on earth is "the" capitalized? "The" is only capitalized when it is part of someone's... or something's official title. Has Bungie sneaked this in expecting no-one to notice it? It seems like it worked, because I haven't seen a single post regarding this yet. I would be happy to hear if anyone else has noticed this, and would love to hear your opinions on it. What are The Architects? Are they possibley the Worm gods? Is it possible they are even more powerful than them?

The Architects is the name Bungie has always given to the out-of-bounds and general death by level design. In Halo, leaving the area or being destroyed by an environmental hazard was considered being killed by The Architects. They repurposed it in Destiny to give a reason for the random deaths you have from dying on the level design itself while giving environmental hazard an actual death reason.

Most people hypothesize that The Architects are Bungie's next protagonists in a future game. This is because in Halo, it was referred to as "Killed by The Guardians".
