KotOR is getting an HD remake!
It's not an official remake and is instead being made by a group of fans known as Apeiron.
Not only are they updating the aesthetics, but it also appears first person will be added in, whether that's a good thing or a bad thing is debatable but it looks like they are doing it anyway.
I have heard nothing about any revamps to the combat system, or game mechanics in general, but what has been shown of the game is stated to be in pre-alpha.
I am pretty excited to see one of my favorite rpgs getting a nice makeover, but that doesn't mean it will definitely happen seeing as how Disney now owns Star Wars and did not license this remake.
So, what do you guys think?

5 RepliesNot a fan of the FP perspective but definitely looks great. I can see Disney putting a stop to this. They are a bunch of [url=http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin%27s_law]-godwinslaw!-[/url]. Probably as bad as Konami.

2 Replies>Fans I wouldn't call them that when they want to integrate first person into a game that doesn't need it. This is KOTOR not Fallout or Elder Scrolls. Bioware has standards, even back then.
