I'm losing brain cells trying to understand why people are arguing over the front/back of the oryx fight

12 RepliesIt really is -blam!-ing simple, and anyone that thinks the door is the front is a -blam!-ing idiot. It's not a house you're walking into, it's not a grocery store, it's not a movie theater. Ever heard of passenger front or driver front? It's all relative to the front of the vehicle, and the same thing applies to ships as well as spaceships. The oryx fight happens on the front of the dreadnaught. where oryx spawns is the front. There is no arguement to be had. Come in my fireteam trying to call the rear of the vehicle the front and it'll be an insta-boot.

Never knew this was an argument. Usually when we get to the Daughters the leader tells everyone to grab a platform. Then we just call them by names.

Why not just shout out the persons name who's platform he is going to? That's how me and my group have done it everytime. The only person hat really needs to take notice is the relic runner. The rest should already be at their totems/ platforms waiting for the relic runner

We've always agreed in our fireteams that where oryx spawns is front left and front right, and closer to the door is back left and back right. Not sure why it is this way...Guess we were raiding and it just fell into place. "He's going to back left" "Alright" And everyone knew what the other was talking about.

Plates are moon, Volvo, Steve & chatter. Very simple plan same guy runs the same plate. Everyone know where that guy is & the floaters can cover if needed

Who cares what is technically correct to call front and back, just call it something everyone in the team agrees on and wont be confusing to anyone

Perspective of SPAWN PLATFORMS Close left/Right FAR Left/Right Oryx spawn when players go to ogre bombs, have one player shoot oryx side adds, the other shooting spawn side adds.
