Should golden gun be able to critical?
This would solve the problem of one shotting sun breakers, and golden gun is slightly lackluster in high level PvE.

As a Titan I say yes. The hunter could be really good in pvp able to kill us in sunbreaker.

With Celestial Nighthawk... that would be insane. So yes, but not very much extra damage.

Just to clarify, this would be a PvE focused buff.

I have more success using golden gun or shadowshot than I do with sunbreaker. You literally need maxed out armour to survive these things. You are therefore slower and recover slower than you potentially could.

Reduce GG's aim assist so it either requires the accuracy perk or requires more precise manual aiming, and [i]then[/i] I'd agree with Golden Gun getting crits. It really needs a PvE damage buff anyway. A single major shouldn't eat all 3 of my GG shots then ask for a Breathsaver.

3 RepliesI don't even think golden gun is affected by solar burn. When i used it during the solar burn nightfall last week it seemed like it was doing the same amt of damage

2 RepliesAs a Guardian who doesn't play Hunter much: I would not mind this change. Less complaining about GG not killing people in one shot in PvP, and more damage against bosses. Of course if Bungie thinks it would be too powerful with Nighthawk on they could either A.) Make its crit not as much of a multiplyer as normal crits are, or B.) Just not let Nighthawk shots crit.
