Only way you could get black spindle was by playing with people you know and who you have trust with. I could not do it with randoms and I had a lot more fun aging with my friends. It was extremely difficult to get but when I invited my friends to play we nailed it. Had a blast doing this and I love that bungie is going in this direction!

Tried it like 4 or 5 times with a couple buddies. Just couldn't do enough damage quick enough. Well get it next time once we're geared up a tad better

Tried twice. Failed miserably, next time will be ready. It's good that things like this have been put into the game and it's actually a challenge to beat them though.
