I've played this game since day 1 sank over 105$ into it and over a year played 3characters while maxing out everything and getting all exotic weapons and armor.
Now I can't do anything because I refuse to be scammed more. To keep paying for a game that the company insults it's customers, and bait and hooks. I quit with you bungie. I hope you all get bait and hooked too.
What makes it OK to insult your customers, make them pay to play, and then rendered more than half the paid items unless?
Sincerely
A fan since halo CE who bought the Xbox just for the halo series.
You ruined the halo franchise after h3 when you sold out and now destiny is garbage as well before it even became a franchise
EDIT*** Thank you for all the comments and opinions everyone. It has made me thread 25x popular than I thought it would be. But REMEMBER this thread is about the game reguardless negative or positive comments this isn't about personal issues, personal problems, or insults. THIS GAME HAS BEEN HEAVILY MODIFIED BASED ON OPINIONS. so all opinions matter, not insults.

Lot of great games out there and quite handful better then destiny critically and fan wise. Instead of complaining just play other games then dlc drops go play it again till max out and move on like the majority of the player base

How you guys liking that micro transaction scam that came true? Enjoy spending real money on dance moves lol!!!

As an old skool gamer I can see where you're coming from. I felt £35 for two expansions and £40 for ttk was far too much. A discount for people who have supported the game would've got a lot more people on bungies side but alas the evils of activision and the current cash cow woes of the gaming industry win again. I've come to terms by as long as I'm still having fun, I see paying for the expansions as another form of monthly subscription, you have to ask yourself whether you'd be happy paying £9/10 a month to keep playing? And if you're still having fun by doing so?

Then quite playing and stop crying!
-
So if you feel scammed why do you still play the game?

1 ReplyYou were always completely useless . You have something in common now . : /

Answer this then please. If TTK was called Destiny 2, would you have bought it then?
-
3 RepliesFor us sheeple out there who bought the Taken King I hope we get exotic sheep themed class items.

Man, I am getting thirsty from all this salt in the air

Replace almost the "you"s with "I"s and it really makes a lot more sense.
-
Blah blah blah "mindlessly throws money at screen for next expansion and goes back to collecting cool gear OP doesn't have! "

Waaaaaaaaa! I'm a baby! Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

2 RepliesPay for TTK, continue to have fun. Don't pay for TTK, play a different game. It's simple, really...

(Wall'o'text inbound) I agree with you. There are a lot of scams of scams in Destiny, but it is debated some of that comes from Activision. They are known for their ways to hook people into buying things. Now,this isn't to say Bungie isn't guilty of some of it as well.I've just payed forty bucks for The Taken King, and can't even play it.I'm on the 360,and Bungie says that they're not really worried about that anymore. On launch, they were more worried about people not being able to use their new dance moves. So,I understand where you're coming fro m this.

1 ReplyThe problem you're having is believing that you are being "scammed." Would you work for free? No. Neither should Bungie.

1 ReplyDeej: looks at post Deej: "Oh no..." *Deej runs out of his house, gets in his car to get to the office. It breaks down. So he goes on foot. He crosses the deserts, climbs mountains, sails the deadly seas. He must get this information to Harold Ryan, the president of Bungie. Finally, Deej reaches his destination. He is exhausted. Deej is drenched in sweat and hardly able to breath. He could fall over dead any minute. Deej: "Mr. Ryan, Superscrub is upset" Ryan: "Who?" Deej: "Superscrub, sir..." Ryan: "My god...bring me the button." *Deej breaks open a glass box on the wall labeled Use in case of emergency. He pulls out a button from the scattered remains and hands it to Ryan. Ryan pushes the button. Confetti pops everywhere and a banner drops that reads No One Cares in bright bold letters. A faint "Yay" can be heard in the background. Ryan: "Money well spent." *Looks over to Deej* Ryan: "Now get back to work and remember to tell me every time someone complains. I just love using this button."

Edited by SirOtter: 9/20/2015 12:45:57 PMScammed...hm. I think you're lost little light. It's simply called progression. You didn't pay to use the same guns for 10 years. Edit: it does say destiny on the box, not Call of Duty.

1 ReplyThe taken king is easily worth 40 dollars. I get why you refuse to buy it but you picked the wrong dlc to quit on cause BUNGIE finally got there head out there asses and got there shit together.

1 ReplyJoin the dark side Garrett.. There's lots you would love about TTK. Bungie fan since I played Halo CE on a demo disc. Seen ups and downs and this my friend is a leap in the right direction. You won't be disappointed.
