100k plus professionals taking off tomorrow?
Just wondering if I'm the only 30 plus year old taking off tomorrow with the rest of us losers to play ttk. Only sign if you make over $100k per year and are over 30 and are taking off tomorrow.
**edit: didn't use $100k figure to brag. My point was when you make that much taking off a day is equal to more lost money. Example is you make $100k over a 250 day work year then taking off a day to play destiny is equal to losing $400.
**edit 2: I now understand Internet trolls for the first time. Getting all these responses is fun as hell
*edit 3: the best time for me to play is when my girls at work so playing all night is an option but not worth fighting with my fiance.

**edit 5: the math in edit 1 was an example. Yes almost everyone with a salary including myself does not lose money from taking paid time off. However haven't you ever sat on the toilet at work for 20 minutes and be like wow I Just took a $8 shit?

I am 33 and make about $115k but working tomorrow. I will play at night per usual Tuesday protocol.

2 RepliesMe and my wife make that easily, and as much as I'd live to take off, or call in sick, just to play destiny, it's not gonna happen. I actually have responsibilities, the air force isn't as chill about sick call ins or days off.

I'm 30 and a doctor but don't make $100k...I suppose I should look into this sales thing. To answer the post: I wish I was playing Destiny tomorrow but have a baby on the way and need to save up that PTO. Lucky bastards that have the day off...green over here.

2 RepliesI'm an automotive engineer for Toyota, and I would fall into this arrogant and, quite frankly, offensive "category" you've created in your mind. You should re-word this post to include only egotistical individuals such as yourself. That said, if you're making $100k/year and taking a day off loses you ANY money, that tells me you're likely hourly (working long hours). If you're slaving 70+ hours a week to reach that figure, then by all means brag about it because you and I are very different types of "professionals". Cheers
