After seeing a majority of comments being positive about Luke Smith this thread is now only about one thing...
Getting Luke Smith to respond to his still devoted fans.
Bump until Deej and Cozmo see and force Luke Smith to reply.

Ummmmmmmmmmmm..... Every game company is greedy. They NEED money to keep their company going and their employees paid. I don't blame them for wanting money. Besides, activision is setting the prices.

1 Reply"IMPROVE" LOL

The changes that are coming in TTK are what they took out of the original game. They will have been working on Destiny 2 for 2 years now so they haven't been working on TTK or anby other DLC that has been released.

He's come a long way since his writing days

Luke Smiths greatest strength is that he is honest. From a company that never gives you a straight answer he is the one who will tell you like it is to IMPROVE the game.
"Is there another chest in the Vault of Glass, Ah I'll never tell." -Luke Smith

4 RepliesI like Luke too, I like is sarcastic attitude. And NO BS policy's 0-blam!-s Given

1 ReplyDestiny had a story. It was just a lackluster story with very little to it, but it's also the first installment. If you combine that with uninspiring story telling, you make story lovers unhappy. I was much more concerned with the lack of endgame content, terrible reward system and unbalanced (OP or UP) gear/abilities. The currency also sucked ass too.
-
I actually agree with you. He may stick his foot in his mouth every now and then, but I like the guy. He seems to be the only one that gives straight (for the most part) answers. He's honest about their product instead of repeating marketing/Activision approved vague nonsense like some others

7 RepliesEdited by Lord Vetinari: 8/12/2015 6:39:28 PM
Let me start by saying his "throwing money at the screen" comments were unacceptable because it shows the greed of bungie.
No!. It shows that somebody was over enthusiastic to explain how cool something was and idiot gamers took it and ran with it as some great offence.

3 RepliesEverybody Throw Miney at the screen

Anyone that's known Luke Smith for years, prior to Destiny, knows how he is. He's said it before even. He's one cool dude.

3 RepliesAgreed

His interview would have played differently if other bungie misplays hadn't happened around the same time. I don't think he always translates well without video, but he's funny and a straight shooter
-
5 RepliesLuke smith is pretty fetch besides that one video where he sounded like an ass.

3 RepliesI like Deej. That's it.

Call me a fanboy or a desticle but I actually like Luke Smith. Let me start by saying his "throwing money at the screen" comments were unacceptable because it shows the greed of bungie. That being said, I feel the best hope for Destiny's future is Luke Smith. TTK is his brain child. From what I am seeing so far he has taken (pun) destiny to a whole new level with some of the changes coming in TTK. He admits that the game has its faults and even during one interview he admits that destiny year 1 had no story. Luke Smiths greatest strength is that he is honest. From a company that never gives you a straight answer he is the one who will tell you like it is to IMPROVE the game. I like him and I think he is going to make destiny the game we all want. Edit: for those that agree or disagree watch this video and then tell me what you think. Completely agree with you. The whole money at the screen was totally wrong but I cant help but like the guy. He's trying to do everything he can to get everyone back on his side and I think he deserves a second chance.

I'd search his destroy *unsubtle wink*
