Hey Bungie community, hey everyone that plays and everyone who takes the time to read this post.
So I play, have played since near day 1. Love it, love the community and playing with mates from all over the world. I consider myself a focused player, not the best but a devoted one. Anyway, here's the downside of my military life it can end up getting in the way of my Destiny life.
Deployment. this weekend is my last for some time. Off I go to a grey floaty ship to take part in a whole heap of military exercises until Christmas. No wifi, no TV no space to call my own, only occasional connectivity on my phone to view my app and sadly look at the progress I am missing from all those back at home defending the galaxy while I defend the country.
Hopefully I won't miss out on any content, hopefully I will catch up again once home. Hopefully I won't be treated like a noob when I get back into the game.
So please guardians, bear a thought for some of the other guardians around you, for they may be guardians in their day jobs too.
Above all and to everyone, good luck on the Dreadnaught, hope that you enjoy it... See you all soon.
Drew.

Although it's unfortunate that you won't be around for launch, take pride in your role, it may be cheesy but you're a real life guardian, take care pal!

Edited by Kupokitty: 8/12/2015 12:01:33 AMToo bad you probably don't have my old job. I was permanent night crew for two deployments in a row and had LAN parties fairly often in my shop. Edit:
MWR sometimes has internet in your liberty ports. It sucks when the entire boat is on at the same time.
Hopefully you don't miss too much, if you have any friends or family that can log in to get the "must haves" might be a good idea to set up something with them before you get sent out. Have a safe deployment
