For those of you who are holding off on TTK at the moment, what is is that you are waiting to hear to tip the scales? I tried to include the major options, but add yours below. Personally, I am waiting to see what will happen to some of my favorite legendaries.
Edit: it seems people are really interested in weapon upgrading.

A good reason.

I am simply waiting to hear everything they're gonna tell us. I know I'm gonna buy it, but see no reason to actually plunk down the money yet. If there's no pre order bonus, I'll just buy it the day it launches.

I need 5 more bucks but dont have a job an dont live under my moms roof so i cant get it tell sometime either next week or next month poor people status barely even have food atm

2 RepliesThe ability to do so. Everytime I try to preorder the $40 digital download (don't scratch the disc) it has no option for the Xbox 360. Both play stations and Xbox 1 can get digital download but not Xbox 360.
-
To see if it's worth the price tag and actually any good. Love this game, but have grown tired as of late, and I'd really like new achievements.
-
Procrastination? I am not motivated to pre-order something that won't run out. If I find myself already on the store, I might by it then. Maybe. Else it'll be within a few days of release.
-
I'm just waiting to buy it once it actually comes out. It has become clear in this industry that pre-ordering actually does more harm than good. Is it convenient for the consumer to do so? Sure. But all the while, companies are riding their huge pre-order numbers and knowingly can temper their workloads and soften their financial goals. You see less and less effort from these corporations when they already know they have the money in their budget instead of the days where studios did their best to strive for greatness and earn their player loyalty.

2 RepliesI'll pre order like a week before I just bought dragonball xenoverse -blam!-kn dope!

Waiting for actual content information. "New missions?" How many. "New quests?" How many. "New places to explore?" How many and are they really "new" or just run in reverse old maps. What little real information given thus far says TTK is not worth $40. In other words, am I getting 2/3s of gameplay content for my 2/3s of a new game price? I want actual information, not the same vague assurances and hype.
-
1 ReplyWaiting to see what the options will be for day one players that have everything already. I don't want to pay 80 dollars for TTK just to get the extra exotic and legendary stuff they are offering.
-
waiting to hear that is it at least the size of the original game and not the 1/3rd size for 2/3rds the price that it appears to be
-
Waiting to not be so poor.
-
2 RepliesI'm not waiting to hear anything. Destiny for me has ran its course. This expansion will be overly priced and won't add as much to the game as it should. It'll score below 80% just like the main game and both previous expansions have done. I have finally seen the light and have turned my back to a game that did give me a lot of gaming but the grind is just too boring now. Thanks bungie. But there are too many other much better games to play. Arkham knight. Far cry 4. Witcher 3. All on my to do list and all amazing

I'm waiting to see if I'm even going to be playing destiny still or if I will even be playing xbox at all. Lol
-
Why preorder?
-
Waiting for reviews. Not getting on the hype train again.
-
Less money.

Edited by Aster: 7/13/2015 6:31:33 PMI preordered the physical collector's edition on July 11th
-
Free chicken nuggets with every pre-order
-
7 RepliesXbox 360 players can't even pre-order it yet.
-
ALL OF THE ABOVE
-
I don't have any money that's why
-
Where's "other" option? I vote other because I am bit broke at the moment (I'm having some nasty bills coming up soon). However, I do know that I'll be getting it on day one! Can't wait.
-
I'm not going to pre-order, even though I will probably buy it. Pre-orders are bad for gaming. In the days when getting a physical copy of the game might have been in question, pre-orders made sense. At this point, buying digitally, that worry is gone. I could pre-order, but there's no reason, and just tells the company I'll buy whatever they put on the shelves with little to no knowledge of the product. They'll have to wait to get my money.
-
Because there is absolutely zero point in pre ordering digital DLCs it's not like there going to sell out. I thought that was the idea behind pre ordering, to make sure you got your copy day one.
