Nice try dee j, you nailed the sales tactics. But I see your companys ignorance towards global pricing and lack of comparison between TTK's price compared to TDB and HoW combined. You pulled the wool over destinys sheep's eyes.

13 RepliesYou and everyone else fail to understand it is not 40 dollars or euros.. it is 40 of what ever countries monetary system you live in... so no the price was not ever going to be the same for everyone everywhere ever nor do they ever have to make it fair either.

2 RepliesPeople don't understand the size of the expansion.

65 RepliesEdited by Artesians: 7/16/2015 10:44:34 PMI like the game. For 40$ I can take my family of 4 out to the movies (just the tickets), for 20$ extra, I can buy some snacks. That'll last me about 2-3 hours. If I buy TTK, I'll get hundreds of hours. If I like what I see, I'll buy it. Screw off with your sheep bullshit, because everyone is buying TTK because they want to. Edit: mandatory edit after hitting 40 replies about how terrible a human being I am for spending my money. Edit2: Wow I'm trending! yeah, no. Nearing 50 replies of people who disagree with my parenting "philosophy" because I bought TTK with some left over pocket money. Hm.

6 RepliesEdited by BruteRaindrop47: 7/3/2015 6:02:56 PMYou and everyone else that complains about the DLC without giving valid proof are retarded. If you don't like the game, gtfo. But I know that you will buy the DLC, and then go complain about it like you have any other. People always find something to complain about, because usually they just want attention. Destiny is called an EVOLVING game for a reason, it wasn't meant to be perfect from the start, but day by day they are slowly improving it, like it or not. If a destiny 2 comes out, I'm sure it will have major improvements. None of the pricing is Bungie's fault. They made the fatal mistake to partner with Activision and now they're paying for it. There's not much they can do when Activision wants to cut content. But they try their hardest to please their customers as much as possible. Everyone says they don't, because those everyone always find some small little detail to complain about. Just stop complaining, and enjoy the progress is making. Thank you, good sir.

Nah they didn't pull any wool over any eyes EVERYBODY has seen the taken king dlc for what it is People are either ok with it or not But 90%of people whether they are ok with it or not will get the dlc (in my opinion) Bungie have made a fun game that is completely broken and you are either ok with it and you still play or you have moved on which leads me to the question, if you have moved on why are you reading this?

I just bought it for the strange coin. #coincollector

I don't think Deej has any say in what Bungie puts out

22 RepliesThe bungie of old that cared about making their fans happy has moved on to working toward making activision happy. In regard to deej, these decisions are way above him, though i do believe he comes off as not caring about the fans, and even coming off as defensive and insincere, which makes me wonder what the point of a community manager is if he is ineffective at managing the community.

4 RepliesThen leave the game you -blam!-ing loser. Quit crying and move it the -blam!- on.

2 RepliesThe job Deej has is to be positive about Destiny. Period. You don't like what he's selling??? Don't buy it! He is just doing his job. Nobody is forcing you to buy anything.

20 RepliesWhether we wanted it or not, we stepped into a war with the Activisionians on Bungie. So let's start by taking out their commanders one by one. Pre-ordering. From what I can gather, he commands the gaming content from a Publisher outside of Destiny. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on DLC.

20 RepliesHold on, I have to go receive chemo therapy. Because this post gave me cancer.

4 RepliesI'm hoping this game will die shortly after TTK launch

Not buying the DLC is the only way to deen's attention, but people wont do that.
-
We paid 20 for the previous DLC. Which sucks ass. Prison is boring. Trials is boring. The new weapons and gear suck. No raid. So the problem is that Bungie realized its consumer base will pay 20 for that shît. So charge 40 for a real expansion. And even worse 20 for aesthetic items. We have ourselves to blame. The community that is.

2 RepliesEdited by cardsfan_87: 7/4/2015 1:35:36 AMwhy would i buy it? i'll just wait til next year when I can get the new dlc for $60 that includes all of the previous dlc lol edit: as a matter of fact, i'll see you guys in 9 years and play destiny the way it was meant to be played before activision
-
4 RepliesI would happily pay $40 for it, but I'm not paying £40 out of principle. Everyone is saying how us Brits have higher minimum wage/tax etc, but why then do we pay £40 for the game itself? It's greediness, as simple as that.
-
Dude, just let it go. They know people are upset with the price. Either buy it or don't, they will either keep it the same price or change it.
