Now as a avid PvP player who has thousands of games played and over a 2.0 on all three characters of all classes and am in the top 1 - 2% of players per stats I still cannot get over the unbalanced nature of this game and would like a playlist where I can outskill people based on gunplay, not rely on specific weapons to win.
The Idea:
Balance every weapons damage/range/impact/stability....other stats based on weapon class not specific weapons, in which i mean all handcannons/pulses/scouts/autos....all other weapons will have all the same default stats as chosen by Bungie, meaning all weapons will be equal and the weapons you chose will basically just be a skin, so go ahead and use your thorn it'll kill at the same range/time as your green handcannon would, and that goes for all other weapon classes as well (also this means no weapon perks either)
Give everyone the same default abilities, default grenades (preferably incendiary but with no burn) and jump (preferably double jump), this excludes supers as supers are a defining factor of Destiny, so no melee abilities, no blink no nothing
Armor does nothing at all besides give you your intellect discipline and strength, all player will have the same health, armor, etc... Armor is just to make you pretty just as the guns are in this playlist
From personal experience I would love to be able to out skill players in this game, not rely on overpowered weapons, no one will be forced to use specific weapon classes or exotics to win as all you hear in every match you play is blinking, shotguns firing, and TLW's/Thorns popping....nothing else
TL;DR Make all weapons and armor default among all classes so that the game is essentially halo with supers
