Stop saying you don't have to buy it
Ok just to get this out there. We WANTED to buy it. But we wanted to buy it just in the sense that we get what we are paying for, 20$ is over priced. If none of you can understand that why bother commenting.
Edit: there I fixed it now stop comparing it to cars and shit you idiots like damn you willingly defend them -blam!- your wallet it's disgusting.
Edit 2: calling me a child for wanting a fair deal is not an insult.
Edit 3: please for personal sanity stop posting you don't have to buy it... ik ok my point is people are going to either way so why not do something productive and try to lower the price.

2 RepliesJust don't buy it. The Digital CE is priced at 80$(which is too much considering the physical CE is the same price) they HAVE TO offer the upgrade-version for 20$ otherwise everyone would just buy the Legendary Edition and the upgrade.

You wanted to buy them speperately. Now you can. If you won't pat the price then you don't get them. Bungie is not required to set a price you think is "fair" These items are vanity items in a consumer electronics entertainment package. This is not Bread, or milk, or Fruit and Veg. These are luxury items. Not lifes neccessities. Fairness is not even a question here. People say you don't have to buy it, because that is the plain and simple truth. These are not over priced, or underpriced. They have simply been priced. You have to decide the value. You seem to have made your decision so now you do what any reasonable person does. You put your wallet away.

Man why would you want an xp boost class item? I mean you only need to level a single subclass (per char). The shaders arent that great, there are others that look similar or way better. And for the emotes.... they will be cool for short time, but people will grow tired/bored of them

Okay, many examples hyper team force go! £40 in the Uk = $60 in the US? Why? Other DLC is priced appropriately. Such as CoD season passes (using that as an example people both in and out of the gaming community know CoD, ask your Gran). Add the Barbie's pretty-me-up items, that's now a total of £60 in the UK which is $90. That's well over-priced for a full game, let alone DLC with more added DLC. So would you buy this if it was stand alone? If this was Destiny 2? Because if so, Bungie called and they want you dry. "It's not Bungie, it's Lackdevision" well then Bungie can protest and strike against it. I'm sure there are many other publishers who wouldn't mind a licence to print money. "They have a contract" they won't have a game if they keep pushing and pushing until BAM! Weapon packs for OP crucible weapons? Vanilla players get The Devil You Don't, micro-transaction purchasers the Red GjallaThorn Regime. Want that Shiny Trials of Otiris gear? Better pay up. Would you want to buy that game now or move on to a better experience? Because sales would plummet. And if Bungie are pushed enough, they half arse the game more. How many bugs and problems to date so far that have gone unaddressed compared to those they fixed which make people have work, grind and attrition over and over again? Far Cry: Blood Dragon, Red Dead: Undead Nightmares, every GTA spin off, they don't need the full game to run, using again examples of popular/heard of by public/unpopular titles, so imagine if Destiny 2: The Taken King did a Mass Effect style save reading to get your characters at level 20 (because you can't play the DLC under level 20 to begin with) and that was a stand alone full game. Because again, at that price, I'm expecting it.

I'll give you credit for not using the list of dlc prices then the cosmetic items price. I don't agree with you but hey, that's your right. I'm not buying it because, on a fixed income, I can't afford it & since those items won't keep me from playing the game, I just get ttk.

7 RepliesIt's a collector item pack, of course it's going to have a collector's premium! Stop complaining, plenty of people will pay for and the proceeds will go to further production of the game. You should thank the people who forked out some extra money...

I said the same thing about your mother! And if you check other video games such as world of Warcraft, it's $25 for one cosmetic item like a mount. If anything it's a deal in that perspective.

I won't be buying them at that price point, but they will surely sell them at a discounted rate at some point in the future. You want a company to realise something is overpriced then... Just don't buy it
