While I admire your dedication & commitment to make a difference I've got £120 ($188) & almost 819 in game hours invested in Destiny. I realise that's less time than you have spent as I only have two lvl 34 characters & a lvl 2 Titan & it would break my heart to destroy all that work. I choose to show my distaste for Bungievisions pricing with my wallet. I've taken the money I would have spent on TTK & spent it prebuying a collectors edition of Fallout 4. I didn't feel that the season pass was worth the money I spent on it, twice considering I prebought it for my wife as well as myself. It's been fun but I just feel that I'm getting fleeced & I'm refusing to buy TTK until they make the price fairer for international customers, not just in the UK where I live but places like Australia where they're paying even more than we are. If Destiny taught me anything it's the importance of standing side by side with my fellow Guardians wherever they are in the world & fighting injustice. I'm joining the TTK boycott until the international pricing issue is acknowledged & addressed. If need be I'll boycott the game until the end of year 2 by which point TTK & the Vex & Cabal DLC's will probably be cheaper anyway & the year 2 exclusive content will be available to xbox owners.

Glad your taking a stand , I left Everquest 2 after 5 years , played since day 1 and was in 3 of the best raid guilds on the server , cleared all the content in the game and I was on the Focus Forum group with 23 other people and the Developers . When they introduced RMT into the game , I left the Focus Forum group. Left the game as did many many many others And our predictions came true withiin a year they had full blown RMT , the slope was so slipperry that the game became a ghost town and they started merging servers Everquest 2 had a great, dedicated tight community , but Developer greed and dumbing down the content sunk the ship and people spoke with their wallets . Destiny has not yet introduced real RMT , but if they do that s it for me and many other people I know. We don't pay for RMT and a lot of friends refuse to even pay for DLC , have 2 friends that still only have the base game . Companies that trade customers for $$ slowly rot awaay as the loyal players eventually get fed up with being used . And the casuals aren't here for the long haul , so spitting on the long term players(payers) is just bad business and has brought down many a game already and will consume many more , Companies like CDProject Red who do right by their Customers will just keep gaining loyal fans and companies like Bungievision will just keep loosing them over time. People like to tote the " it's a business" tired old line as an excuse for everything . But when other companies are giving more product for the same or less money and giving away multiple free DLC as a thank you to their fans , without any cheep marketing gimmicks and partnership with other companies like Redbull to spread all the Players money around to as many pockets as they can, it's easy to see what business model any sane person would be on board with and what ones they would be against . Some people just like to pay for a product over and over and over again .

A mass exodus of deleting characters and canceling preorders wouldn't catch bungie's attention... Well it would, but it would catch Activision's more. Bye bye Destiny. Bye bye Bungie. Bye Bye marathon remake. If we stop paying, they stop developing and Bungie dies with Destiny. Period. I'm still here because I believe in what destiny could be, and I think Bungie can get there despite Activision's terrible nature as a corporation. It's been a rocky road but Bungie is new to this, hell, we're all new to this shared world shooter social mmo-esque fps. This game isn't as simple as Halo, that's just a fact, Bungie I think will only get better. I hope :/ Edit: more than I believe I enjoy this game mainly because I enjoy it along with other games, and I enjoy it in moderation. If you can do those things you should enjoy it too. Just don't be salty about forever not having a ghorn :)
