Luke Smith fired yet?
I am done with this game until he is done at Bungie. Let me know when he's fired and I'll consider coming back.

2 RepliesIt was the same level of disappointment when Star Wars EP1 came out. Seriously, my heart sank and was on the forums instantly to complain... I was in complete shock. It took me a few weeks to get over it.. Maybe months it hurt.

3 Repliesokay so wait, After reading the article they expect me to Re-Buy ( Destiny, The Dark Below, House Of Wolves ) For the Collectors edition, just because it has some 'Cool' Exclusives. You've got to be kidding me right? Are Bungie Blind Deaf and Dumb? Now Insults aside, I point blank refuse to re-Buy content that I already have, I don't care for the package exclusives or pretty shiny things That I can get in a game that have absolutely 0 Value. As A Day 1 player ( Yes I stopped playing for a period of time Needed a break from the pointless grind When you're maxed ) I feel Cheated and Undervalued. waiting to see the weekly update to see what 'Cool' things I get.

The fact he is keeping his job, should show you that Bungie and Activision make calculated decisions to influence the community and justify their pricing, as well as driving up the demand for their products. IMHO Luke Smith was used as a tool to disrupt the community to get destiny players taking about TTK and justifying prices, then Bungie throws in some new shaders, emblems, and sparrows for your guardians, and everything is starting to seem alright for the people who were complaining. It's a great tactic, and if I were them I'd be using employees as an advantage to get the community to react and buy my product as well. That being said, I would feel fine paying $80 for the collectors addition if I wanted it that badly, but I don't really care. I have played this game way more than I should have already, and with somewhere around 1500 hours logged on this game, I'm paying less than 7 cents/hour of game play. I work Full-time, and that's damn near a second job. But It's fun because I always have friends to hop in a fire team with. How's this for a conservative comparison, say a movie is 2 hours long, and you dish out $20 per movie. I could have bought 750 movies for the same amount of entertainment I have got out of Destiny in the past year, but instead of costing me the $100 Destiny has, it would have cost $15,000. Needless to say, yeah, I'll be getting the expansion.
