If anything thing, you should be quite pleased with the fact that so many males choose to play as a female character. I love that Destiny's female avatars aren't overly sexualized. They are just as strong and bad ass as the male choices. Think about why you got triggered here. Is it really worth getting muted by half of the commuinity? If you think that choosing a female character is anything more than a simple choice, you are on some pretty good crack. Check your privilege before you assume something about every single person who doesn't do what you want us to do. Stop using sweeping generalizations when referring to us. A lot of us, work out, take care of our appearance, and have a strong female by our side. /end rant, gtfo.

7 RepliesOver half the community statistically has never fired a weapon before. What are you doing playing a video game that shoots guns then? That is the logic you are using right now. And before you come back with a "I have shot a gun before!" 1. There's no way of proving that, but more importantly number 2. There are factual statistics that show the amount of people owning, firing guns and since a majority of this player base is too young to fire one to begin with, the fact is that by your logic most of this community shouldn't be playing a fps because in real life they aren't shooters. Thanks for your time.

1 ReplyI've always wondered what it was like to be a girl. I thought creating a female character might help me get a glimpse of what it was like. Alas, it hasn't been as revealing as if hoped and I'm left wondering. I also thought it might give me a taste of what life would be like if I could shoot purple energy out of my hands but again, no joy. Perhaps the fact that this is fiction should have been a clue but no. Oh, and I'm not that fat, and I only sweat sometimes. Oh, and get this...sometimes, when I play Mariokart with my kids, I play as princess peach!!! Perhaps someone should alert the authorities?
