Why do so many people have such low grimoire?
i saw a 34 with 1450 yesterday
By this I mean 2990 and below.

I have no interest in looking for ghosts, or using weapons and playing game modes I don't enjoy.

I'm more amazed at the super low level players that I see populating PVP. A few of them are obviously good PVP/PVE players that probably just use a low level joker character, but it's also pretty obvious that most of these low level players are just really bad players hacking it up in PVP only. My question is why on earth would someone buy Destiny just for the PVE? Getting slaughtered over and over can't be fun.

That and I've barely played the game since hard mode crota was released, did each mission once from house of wolves and haven't played it since. If someone wants to assume I am a terrible player based on my grimoire score, well, *shrug* there loss of a good player.

Probably because you can easily be 34 within a 2 weeks if you have friends that can get you through stuff like raids and nightfall/weekly

6 RepliesIf you make a grimoire post, at least be above 3400 dude. Makes you look like a doofus. As for your question, it's probably because they have just stated. Grimoire takes time to build up unless you're farming for it

Probably because they're newer players and it doesn't take that long to get to 34. Personally I've never gone Ghost hunting and still have around 3200, but I've been playing since day one.

1 ReplyDayummm. I am 2990 and below. I have 1100 hours. 3x34s with 12 flawless runs not including times I have helped people. I am unworthy of even commenting in this thread due to me not being a ghostbuster.

I don't see how people's argument is grimoire is just "dead ghost hunting/farming" you get grimoire by other means too. Idiots.

Why should I spend my time doing pointless things for the sake of increasing some equally pointless number? Light levels and armour pieces actually change your gaming experience so it makes sense to want the best, but some arbitrary number that does literally nothing and isn't even fun to get? What's the point? It's the same problem spread throughout the whole game: there is no reason why I should actually give a shit and as a consequence it's boring.

I can't be bothered to go hunt ghosts or anything else. I got my hands tied trying to force myself to level my Warlock for a 3rd time.

Could spend an hour collecting ghosts and get to 3200 but what's the point? To please people that put a high value on a pretty meaningless number, get called a Christmas noob now and again, I'll get over that
