I just watched Mesa Sean's videos of him going over the new subclasses. I'm impressed with the titan's new class and warlock's looks decent. But the hunter is a joke. I main hunter and I'm glad there's a support class so others can't bash on hunters but this has no effect on PvP unless you're playing control. Anyone can see that purple crap hunters put on the floor and obviously dodge. My biggest problem as usual Titans get over shields in super now just as warlocks always has but no shields for hunter and it will be easy to kill a hunter out of super like the other two classes. I'm not impressed at all. I would love to hear other opinions on it.
Thanks you to the guys who spoke their opinions without hate. When TTK is released I will definitely check it out and see if actual gameplay will change my thoughts. As for you other guys, it's a first impression. Your life skills must suck. You won't get far in your careers speaking like that. I pity you.
Update: Blah blah hate hate. I see how it could be useful in PvP with the super negation. Good job -blam!- boys for proving your points in the most unintelligent way.

In my opinion, I am looking forward to it. I will love to knock people out of their supers. Plus the fact that we get a bow just excited me lol. My question is; how does it produce orbs and how many? One of my issues with hunters supers is that they don't produce a lot of orbs. Will that change with this new subclass?

1 ReplyWait 3 months...Just wait...The community will be crowded with "Warlocks-wear-dresses-fanboys" that beggs Bungie to nerf all 3 Hunter subclasses. Remember - Hunters aren't allowed to use supers in PvP and the same time were useless in PvE because our supers too weak. Remember the name when sh*t kicks in.

1 ReplyHow are you bitching before you even try it

dumbass thread LOL

4 RepliesI have three hunters at the moment. ...I'm underwhelmed by what I've seen and read so far, I also disagree with the decision to give hunters a support class in the first place though to be honest, hunters hunt

Hunter already has 2 amazing pvp classes. Now it has one suited for PVE. It's all good.
-
2 RepliesYou're kidding right? You haven't even used it yet. Stop complaining kid.
-
Night stalker is only PVE. No argument.
-
Planet Destiny had an good review. It sounds like it will do pretty well.
-
The original point of the classes was supposed to be: Titans-close range Warlocks- medium range Hunters-long range A hunter is supposed to hang back and strike strategically. Waiting for the right time is very in keeping with the hunter style.

You know that this was a failed hate post when OP doesnt reply to anyone....
-
2 RepliesOP: Hi im 12 years old and I believe the new hunter subclass is a joke because it doesnt instakill anything, support is dumb, and I need a super that kills.

Don't rely on MesaSean. He's not that good at this game and doesn't give good enough input on anything in my honest opinion. If you want true, crisp content, definitely check out My Name Is Byf or Datto does destiny. And from the gameplay that I have seen, nightstalker looks really good
-
I don't think the class is for you if you can't see the class' potential for pvp domination. You can stick with bladedancer and gunslinger if you really think it's bad. I suggest you watch other youtubers' videos on the new hunter super to give more viewpoints before you denote it as trash. Hopefully this will open up your mind to the potential of the super. You have to remember that the class builds they had weren't even fully explored because only the first line and second grenade in the skill tree were available.
-
2 RepliesEverybody there is something obviously wrong with this person pay no attention he was probably high when he posted this.
-
Because our other two subclasses dominate in PvP. You're not forced to use night stalker and after I max it I'll probably go back to arc blade for crucible
-
SS will be the most overused, OP super come September, watch.

6 RepliesFrom someone who runs all three characters, lvl 34, with multiple builds, I think I understand where Bungie was going with this one. At end game activities, the most VITAL and CRUCIAL subclasses aren't offensive in nature, unless you consider using radiance to spam solar/fusion grenades to create space (but even this is almost always reserved for resurrection). It comes down to this. Against tier 2-3 opponents, nova bomb, fist of havoc, or golden guns just don't wipe opponents off the board. And why should they? It makes using them extremely strategic. It makes planning and adjusting to play styles with your clan. Hunters Invis and resurrect you. Titans pop wards of dawn around you and protect you. Warlocks use radiance to keep you from wiping. OFFENSIVE classes are fun, but supporting each other builds a community of guardians that work together to wear Oryx as an asshat. The Nightstalker will make more asshats.
-
If you don't like it in Pvp. Don't use it in Pvp. Simple. Use another subclass
-
The way of the ninja is not for everyone :) Might not be the most visually impressive or dramatic but the nightstalker class is going to turn the crucible on its head. I don't mean that in a bad way either.

4 RepliesEdited by SkintightJeebers: 6/21/2015 12:36:08 PMYou're having a laugh? It Tracks It suppresses super activation It cancels other people's supers if they have them active(!)
-
1 ReplyHunter have two incredibly powerful supers, it might be nice to have a more support like role
-
5 RepliesHunters already have 2 extremely powerful supers though... getting one that isnt so powerful evens the hunters out. Theres a time and a place for the new class, just like using a titans defender class and warlocks sunsinger class
-
It's the super to end all supers how could it not be amazing
-
From some gameplay that I've seen, it appears that shadowshot can shut down supers, including arcblade, golden gun, radiance, hammer of sol, and stormtrance. Not only does it do this, but it also leaves the enemy slowed and dazed. While not a directly killing super, it is going to be incredibly powerful in my opinion.
