Nerf the thorn already

Its an exotic just as the TLW. They are supposed to feel OP. You think dev. team will nerf it just because you douchebags cant complete the Thorn bounty? "If it kills me, nerf it". You babies never stop do you?

How about a perk on a piece of armor that cancels out the DoT? If your not going to nerf the broken gun, then give us something to counter it at least!

Somehow, I think the complainers are new people areound here (mostly, not all). Thr older guardians would remember that Thorn was acctualy buffed last december. Before that it was mostly considered useless weapon and something not worth obtaining the hardest bounty. Kind of makes you think, eh? ;)

5 RepliesI'd be ok with buffing other weapons to compete with Thorn. I hate that gun with a passion and would love to see it get broken back into oblivion, but i would rather not see other weapons go with it. If Thorn would get nerfed, i think it should be as Toshibo 187 suggested. For those saying Thorn isn't OP, STFU. You are only saying that because you rely too much on it and getting pissy and scared your easy button might get taken away. If it's not OP, then why is over half the entire community using it? I'm not saying everyone that uses Thorn sucks. The only reason skilled players use it is to even the playing field and it's the most optimal primary loadout by fighting fire with fire. But again, I'd rather see the Thorn stay as is than to see other weapons get nerfed along with it. Just want weapons to stop getting nerfed to being useless. Bring them up to Thorns level. If I had t it my way, I'd have Destiny get a SWAT mode. Regardless of any weapon you use, one shot to the head is a kill shot.

Please. This gun has been ruling pvp for months. You guys remember when iron banner was only Suros regimes and now the whole game is thorn? It's ridiculous. Why can't this game be balanced like halo

Just checked your Grimoire. The only reason you dont use it is you dont have it, lol. Its not that OP kid, the only gun close to god-status and was so broken like you claim the Thorn is would be the Mythoclast when it first came out

It can be overcome with a few things: Ambushing Red Death Superior skill / Strategy Another Thorn (which is easier to obtain than you think) I'm in no way a pvp legend, but I do have gotten away with these things in the past. Especially in the last few days, where I really changed my game and play very strategically in pvp. It can not, however, be bested by whining and yelling out "nerf!"... "Git gud" is what people normally say in these situations, but I'll just say "Don't fight them head on, be a sneaky little sh#t" ;) [EDIT] Nerfing guns just takes 'em of the map, but something else takes their place. I'm sure that nerfing Thorn would lead to TLW and Red Death being considered too OP, and that would lead to nerfing them and so on until we end up with a green fusion rifle being the last standing OP. Isn't it better to best them in the game until they have no other option but changeing up their game or throwing a fit in front of the monitor, 'cause their toy no longer works the way they thought it would :)
