More range, faster fire rate, more ammo, precision shots kill tier 1 enemies. I don't understand people's love of hand cannons, when the scout rifle clearly dominates PVE.

Hand canon is more situational. For smaller rooms or rushing Hive I prefer handcannons, less awkward at a close range. I would like a solar handcannon though, for a nice collection.
