You're blocking yourself - people want maximum firepower to burn away the sponges littering the prison floor. Blame yourself for not maximizing your exotic chances and blame Bungie for designing drawn-out sponges for endgame content. Boss fights should be no longer than 5 minutes in length. Remember, We have to repeat those fights 3 times a week per character per difficulty mode - that adds up to a lot of time dedicated for just weekly content. There's other stuff to do and Gjallarhorn is the tool to let us do it.

I played for months and months without it, and it really isn't a necessity, but I will say this weeks 34 was painful without using the spam method. I don't have the time to play PoE for hours on end, so I'm glad I had it. We did try the standard method for a while before saying -blam!- it, let's just pop a bubble and end this. I can see how it would be annoying to not get a group in LFG because you're not meeting the "must be 34 with 365 gally" requirements, but I'm sure it's the same as the "must be 32 with Max gally" for Crota hard. Not really true, but when hard Crota first dropped it made it a lot less painless. I can't get into ToO groups cause my K/D is bad, but I just do other shit or run with my buddies. There's a lot to do in the game, and the hardcore players will always be dicks when the new DLCs drop. It's a race for them to run out of content in 2 weeks. I play for enjoyment and am fine with taking my time to level up. ESO is coming soon anyway, so until Sept or a new raid, I'll do what I can and have fun doing it. In the end getting an etheric light isn't going to make my real life better or worse.

I used to have the problem when I used to want to do crota hard when I was a 31 with no gally or hunger. Even now when I recruit for players I simply ask for experienced players, never for a specific rocket launcher. I can't speak for POE 35 as I've never done that but I still see people asking for gallys on the vault of glass!!! Why???

This week's PoE focuses on Arc, our team beat him with 3 arc snipers. Last week, you would only want Gjallarhorn for Skolas at 35, which you could beat in less than a minute. I honestly cannot come up with any situation in PoE where Gjallarhorn is needed.

I'm tired of hearing people crying about not having the gally. I passed it up when xur brought it week two and have been kicking myself since, but I know eventually it will drop. Just wait... Like everyone else has, and many more will continue to. It gives me a reason to keep doing certain activities, since I have damn near everything else. So just wipe the tears and keep playing And for those using the excuse of "exclusion" because you don't have it, quit bitching. Your either playing with douchebags or your not really looking for people

I started back up near the 2nd DLC drop and still wasn't very enthusiastic but I played a bit every week. Through all this time I had not been able to get the Ghorn or the hawkmoon to drop so naturally I just said F it I give up with trying to find it. I got back on today after a long bout with witcher 3 because I needed a breather, and I went to do the poe with some randoms which was actually more enjoyable than I thought it would. By the end I was excited to see the rewards of my first run and I walked up and it dropped the ghallahorn, and I about shit my pants. Then later I got a legendary engram from the nightfall and went to decrypt it and got a second ghallahorn. So the moral of this story is sometimes it's best to give a game you like a break sometimes, because it may just surprise you when you give it a chance, good luck and happy hunting sir :)

I've gotten Gally 5 Times... But there's a simple answer to this dilemma. Find cool nice people who don't care about Gally as much as gun and skill, and play with them.
