I guarantee you that it will be changed. It's a community divider.(not what Bungie wants) PvE players is where Bungies bread and butter are. Edit: You can clearly tell that some of these PvPers are completely ignorant. Lol. Do they even read? Can they read? Lol. No where did I say that Trial should be Nerfed. It really goes to show you just how dumb some of these people are. I got hate mail and I didn't even say anything wrong. I love the get good scrub comments etc because it really shows just how immature some people are. Lol.

How do you nerf a game type?

Edited by DeadshotJCC: 5/28/2015 6:02:45 PMPvp never complained about pve just play what your good at or get good... scrub
-
18 RepliesThey need to get rid of level advantages. Such a dumb idea for a competitive game mode. What if CoD did that? 9th prestige and you do more damage for it? Hahaha. Yeah right.
-
On the contrary I've seen more pve players than ever on my friends list playing trials vs regular crucible.... While these guys may be bitching it's not like they're not trying.
-
1 ReplyHalo wasn't pve. Most of it was pvp. PvP should be their bread and butter. Also, how do you "nerf" a game mode lol

1 ReplyEdited by StarlightSavior: 5/28/2015 2:40:55 PMEmphasise on the 'community divider' please? Otherwise your post literally contains nothing. You haven't explained why, or how it should be nerfed. I am mostly a PvE player but I played trials last week and -blam!-ing loved it. Great fun! I didn't manage the 9-0 as after we hit 7-0 one of my guys just lost it, but a lot of people on my list did make 9-0 so it must be quite achievable. I really don't think they are going to enable children's mode just for you, especially as you can't even explain why they should...
-
yeah you didn't get very specific about why it will be nerfed.. but as far as dividing.. I think a few months back they ran the numbers and something like only 10 percent had beaten crota on hm... so pve has had content not everyone could best.. no reason pvp should have the same tier of content.. especially since you don't have to go flawless to get loot
-
2 RepliesNo it won't. It allows tryhards (self included) to fight other tryhards in an event other than iron banner. It's been shown to not be for casuals, so don't be a casual and think your going to go 9-0.
-
1 ReplyEdited by WormChi: 5/28/2015 3:15:31 PMThat's like saying PoE should be nerfed for pvp players. Guess what? Bungie was built on Pvp and they are trying to bring it back to Destiny. Trials is awesome and there a e a lot of hardcore pvp players on Destiny. I think what you need to realize is the world, Destiny or not, doesn't revolve or have to agree with your decisions. You're way is not always going to be the one and only way.

11 RepliesLet me start off by saying I'm barely an average pvp player and I got my ass handed to me in the trials all weekend. But this whole pvp vs pve players thing is pure nonsense. Why doesn't anyone realize that they play pve too? I bet my left nut that over 90% of them have completed all the pve content. But instead of just replaying the same shit over and over again like all of us pvers, they went and played crucible and became good at it. In a way crucible is the real end game content and the lighthouse is an acceptable end game reward. I congratulate those who made it there but at the same time I do think the trials should be a little more balanced. For instance, how many of you flawless runners wiped the floor with your opponents? I know my teams were getting owned like it was the year 1785. Also with all the guns in this game I encountered like 5 of them all weekend. So pvers, stop bitching about the the lighthouse and just practice and get better. If they are doing it what is stopping from you doing it too? If you dont have time to practice because of work, kids and life in general, skip doing pve shit for a week or two and practice in crucible. Stop bitching about wanting something handed to you and work for it. I know I will be.

Community divider? But... there is already a divide between pvp and pve, they are completely different. The divide did not come from lighthouse or trials, and comes from the fact that they are two completely different game types. Trials should not change, they are perfect as is.
-
Im a pve player. I find pve player complaining about pvp content to be absolute shitheads
-
Your post has now made everyone who read it much dumber
-
4 RepliesNot gonna be changed. You can't Nerf skill level. My team, and teams better than that, will be in there every weekend waiting to knock people out.
-
A PVP player is a different breed. We look at Destiny from a different angle.
-
I don't see them changing anything. Trials works just fine as is. And doesn't require you to be MLG pro. I got flawless a few times last weekend and I'm not exceptional at crucible. I've just played enough to know what the hell to do.
-
1 ReplyToO is the best PVP mode ever, its really challenging, you need to have real stategies (even if the brain doesn't need to work too hard). and the rewards are f good.
-
1 ReplyAs a primary PvE'er I thought trials was one of the funniest/fun/frustrating events yet. And I hope it remains unchanged.
-
1 ReplyTrials is just fine. As a PvE player it's the most fun I've ever had in PvP. The people complaining are just salty they weren't able to go flawless the first weekend. They should just suck it up and try to figure out what they're doing wrong, because it's not hard.
-
PVP is where Bungie's "bread and butter" is. Do you realize that their last franchise--Halo--made FPS games what they are today?
-
Gotta admit, this is one of the more idiotic posts I've read in the past month.
-
I'm going to hold you to that guarantee.
-
What are you talking about. trials will be nerfed is the title of the post
-
-
You say that like it's a fact. Like you can see the future. Wait... Can you ? If so, you should be using that ability for something more useful than predicting videogame changes.
